He must not have fully recovered from the blown out knee.

My impression is if he got the right call in an emergency he might suit up but between being diminished (ie not a starting caliber guy) and enjoying family life -- he's ok calling it a day and spending time with the kids. If the saints lost 2-3 CBs I could see him getting the call like they did with Mckenzie/mccallister in 2009.

Loved watching him play in Buffalo, hated to see him go. Got to talk to him a handful of times over his years in Buffalo, great sense of humor. Nothing but love and respect for Jabari as a person and his career.

Respect to him....nothing but respect.

I see a lot of him in our former USC corner

I don't see that at all...

Greer was a solid cover guy. Robey is more of a read and recognize ball hawk guy.

Greer is McKelvin size, Robey is 5'7" 165 tiny.

If any one Robey reminds me of Al Edwards or Antoine Winfield who were small and short but great DBs up close to the LOS.

Either way it's too bad Greers stay in buf was short. He seemed to make plays..

I'll pile on the to the well-wisher bandwagon.

Very good player and class act.

Enjoy your retirement Jabari. (I'm sure he reads this site.)

Probably my greatest moment on TBD is when I predicted he would be a great player and starter well before it happened.

After that, it was all downhill on this message board for me.

Was that tuel thing just trying to reach those former peaks?

Great career for an unheralded guy who made a name for himself. Like many, I was disappointed to see him go. I hope he was one of the wise ones who knew the millions wouldn't roll in forever and planned accordingly.
