DC Tom Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 http://www.accuweath...uption/33672914 And that's from about 2.5 miles away. And it's one of three volcanoes on the rim of a sizable caldera. Truly sucky place to live. Though a garden spot compared to the rest of Papua New Guinea.
ExiledInIllinois Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 (edited) Are those volcanoes half a globe away causing these cold weather patterns in central N.America? It is only 50 out today. Now if a huge Tambora eruption could cause the 1816 "year without a summer," What are the effects of smaller eruptions throughout the East Indies? 50? For a high on September 12th? I guess not too terribly low, feels gr8... Drizzle makes it feel cooler... But something has to be in play here? Edited September 12, 2014 by ExiledInIllinois
