Reasons the Bills will win,

1. Opening day game with jacked up sellout crowd.

2. The Emotion of the First game at home without Ralph Wilson.

3. The Emotion of the First Game with possible new owner, Pegula.

4. Coming off first win ever in Chicago. Momentum and confidence.

5. Swept them last year with a 4th string QB Thad Lewis. Now EJ is playing.

6. Miami is coming off home victory over the Pats, But they did that last year and played us. Result Bills win.

7. Sammy Watkins ready to Explode. Expect big game from our Big Star.

8. Same Defensive line that destroyed them last year. Williams, Williams, Dareus and Hughes know how to find Tanneyhill.

9. Finally, Bills curse is over. Reed in HOF, Kelly has no Cancer, Bills staying in Buffalo. Momentum shifted to the Bills.

This is OUR Time. Playoff bound!

What he said!

A new day baby. I heard Flutie felt bad and took the voodoo tiki off the 50 yard line (the curse is over), dug it up, and said all is ok. Now can I be on the wall?

More importantly we have the offensive components to dictate, especially since EJ took a huge step last week in maturing right before our eyes. We have the massive OL that can withstand the onslaught of their DL which happens to be a strength of theirs. I fully expect them to open some sizable holes for our RBs. They are decimated at the LB position and once our RBs hit the second level it will be off to the races for us! Sprinkle in our 3 W's (Watkins, Woods and Williams) and we'll have them reeling. Look for Spiller to take one to the house on KOs and our defense to feed off of the home town crowd. We look to be getting to be a bit more healthy on defense with Gilmore and Bradham coming back and Preston having gotten his feet wet last week should be quite a formidable jacked up crew going when their offense has the ball. I don't expect this one to even be close. I'm calling off work come Sunday regardless of the consequences and I'll be right in front of my TV down here in SW Florida! This is going to be one of the biggest games that I can remember in a long time! I sure wish that I could be at The Ralph but I'll settle for just looking at my big framed picture of it that my son got me a few Christmases ago. Just know this, I will be with many of you in spirit and if you hear some faint distant screaming that will be me losing my mind as we squish the phish!

Go Bills!

I try to keep it to more player/scheme reasons why the Bills would win.

That said:

1) The Miami LB group took a big hits in injuries in the Patriots game. This is less evident in the pass first Pats, but when you have CJ, Freddy and Boobie slamming into you for four quarters, I expect the vaunted Dolphins run D to take a hit.

2) The Dolphins seem like a slightly weaker Bears. They have a decent, but inconsistent QB who uses better WR's to make up for it. (I would take the Bears' any day), a bruiser at RB (only less versatile than Matt Forte) and (with injuries) a decent but average O-line. If Schwartz can gameplan the Bears, he should be able to game plan the Phins.

3) The Miami rush, though looking tough, are going to have the same problem the Bears had, which is the Bills extremely deep and talented RB corps pounding the rock and as such are not going to be able to blitz as much. We saw what that allowed EJ last week.

4)....ok, this one is personal...but the Bills just won a huge upset on the road. They come back for their home opener, against their historic rival, and then the fan find out that Pegula is the solid lock on next owner. If the Ralph is not screaming for blood on Sunday, I'll be shocked.
