TallskiWallski83 Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Wonder what the Ravens will do at RB now? Forsett looked good yesterday vs the Bengals but he's been a lifelong backup and I doubt he can carry the load alone, B Pierce has looked awful dating back to last year. Perhaps they'll call up Buffalo and ask about Bryce Brown? If Im Whaley I hold firm on a 2nd round pick as compensation.
DrDawkinstein Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Ger er done, Doug. If you mean he should be calling Baltimore to offer Spiller for their 1st Round pick (or even Brown for their 2nd Rd), then Im interested in that discussion!!
IDBillzFan Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Nope. Ray Lewis. He has the playbook on reputation revival. 1st step: find religion. The difference: no one had video of Lewis. That clip of Rice will live forever.
The Wiz Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 (edited) I believe the Falcons cut Vick as well. He was cut correct but that was after he was sentenced to 21 months. Also had a nice record before that too. Ron mexico was one of my favorites. They were also trying to trade him first before cutting him. Edited September 8, 2014 by The Wiz
Kelly the Dog Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 @ABC Just in: NFL Commissioner indefinitely suspends Ray Rice, based on new video evidence that became available today - @AaronKatersky Something is rotten in Denmark. Unless the NFL intentionally didn't try to obtain the video because of what they may have seen, in which case, there is something rotten in Denmark.
KD in CA Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 He'll play as soon as Tony Dungy works with him and declares him to be a changed man. Yup. In about two months we'll get Bob Costas preaching about Dungy and Rice 'working toward a return in 2015'.
bobobonators Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Ray Rice will be out this season after being suspended indefinitely by NFL now too. But he'll be back playing for another team next year, 2016 max. If the NFL let Mike Vick play again after torturing and murdering dogs and going to prison for it, Ray Rice will be back for assault w/ no prison time. The Pats will probably sign him.
Offside Number 76 Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Nope. Ray Lewis. He has the playbook on reputation revival. 1st step: find religion. That's where Tony Dungy comes in.
bobobonators Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 That's where Tony Dungy comes in. lmao. how much does Tony charge for his services?
BringBackFergy Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 I hope the Bills don't cut Fred Jackson for doing the same to girly man Chris Conte. Most excellent
The Dean Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Something is rotten in Denmark. Unless the NFL intentionally didn't try to obtain the video because of what they may have seen, in which case, there is something rotten in Denmark. I can't believe the NFL and/or the Ravens didn't see that video, or know it existed. I suppose it is possible. Perhaps it is as you suspect--they new the video existed but purposefully didn't obtain it. The suspension could have come with a warning that the video never see the light of day. I mean how embarrassing would it be to the NFL and the Ravens should that video get leaked? I guess we know the answer to that. Goodell should have taken a play from the Pat* cheating scandal and burned all the evidence.

section122 Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 (edited) Goodell should have taken a play from the Pat* cheating scandal and burned all the evidence. I think they thought that this video would never surface. However the casino is closing that this happened in. Therefore the casino is off the hook liability wise so the video can be sold. If the casino was going to still be in business I don't think this video leaks. edit: and what I mean by off the hook is that there is nobody to sue for the leak. mitchmurraydowntown Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 NFL suspend him indefinitely: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/09/08/nfl-suspends-ray-rice-indefinitely/#comment-3611272
Buffalo Barbarian Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Oh now they cut him, where was their "disgust" when this happened? Just more bending to public opinion. He should serve his suspension and move on. No one should ever hit a woman but should you lose your job forever for it? What if you would lose your job for it? Don't give me that BS that the NFL is a privilege, it's job just like any other.
Rob's House Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Do we now know the details of the incident, or are we just being generally supportive?
