Source: Bills' Keith Rivers sidelined at least two games http://es.pn/1rZgNUN

via @espnnfl"-Here is the news story on Buffalo's LB.

This will hurt more if Aaron Williams does not play as well, as his presence in the defensive backfield would set Buffalo up well to play a big nickel as the base defense with Aaron at FS, Duke at SS, and Searcy as the big nickel.

They could then move Searcy to SS on obvious passing downs, bringing in either Robey or Graham for Duke.

Of course, if Aaron is out, they could do the same thing, but would need to play Graham at FS instead of Aaron (provided that Gilmore can play).

A lot of interesting defensive possibilities for both teams resulting from injuries.

#Bills head coach Doug Marrone joins @WGR550

Marrone on building a gameplan: "People think we just show up and play. There's not enough hours in the day to get it all in"

Marrone on return on @NigelBradham_13: Among most consistent players in preseason/camp. Excited for his return to the LB group.

Marrone on depth of CBs w/ Gilmore, McKelvin, Graham: "We have 3 starting cornerbacks. To put one of them on the bench would not be smart"

Not much of a challenge. Anyone who's watched Bills games over the last year knows that EJ's favorite target is Woods.

All of the hype around Watkins as the 4th pick in this year's draft likely lit the competitive fire in Woods. Seems like he took it on as a challenge to improve his game and cement himself as the best WR on the team. I love it! No matter who the #1 WR is, the internet trio (Woods, Watkins, and Williams) is damn good. Now if the Bills can somehow upgrade the TE position.......

@OmarKelly: Who has the edge in Sunday's #Dolphins vs #Bills game http://fw.to/siEwvHH

I'm a bit confused as to why Miami's pass rush against Buffalo's OL is a bigger mismatch than Buffalo's pass rush vs. Miami's OL, but hey, it's a Miami paper.

Wait - Mario is going against a rookie? I think they have that wrong. Hughes v. James. Mario v. Albert.

Nope, they're right. Mario plays LDE, goes against James...and to think, Miami fans are making a mountain out of Wake going against Henderson and completely ignoring that small factor.

I thought it had to be wrong... considering we have heard nothing about it!

So let me get this straight - Mario dominates the Fish OL in both games last year and this year is going against a rookie who is considered an upgrade to the guy who could not contain him. Last year, Wake does nothing against the Bills OL and this year is also going against a rookie, who is considered an upgrade to the guy who did contain him.

Their thinking must be that the Dolphin OL will be okay since they handled the Patriots fairly well. Faulty conclusion. The Bills' front will be a much tougher challenge for them as they will find out on Sunday.

Then why has this not been brought up as a mismatch but Seantrel v. Wake is like TJ Graham v. Richard Sherman?

Probably because our guy is a 7th rounder, and they haven't done any research.

Can I just say how exciting it is to have a Dolphins v Bills game that actually matters?

I know it's early and all, but it feels a bit different this year... like the AFCE is pretty close.

That Omar Kelly dude is such a homer. He thinks, even with all their injuries, the Dolphins are flat out more talented than the Bills.

Other than Wake over Hughes and maybe Grimes over Leo as well as possibly at strong safety, I'd say we're better at most other defensive positions. And on offense, Albert and Cordy are a wash. As are James and Seantrel. The interior is a bit of a weakness for both teams, though Wood is an upgrade over their backup center. Clay >> Chandler and perhaps Wallace is better than any one of our wideouts for the moment, but Watkins and Williams are better than Hartline and whoever. Even with Moreno's week 1 performance, I'd take our RBs over theirs. And I'll give Tannehill an edge over a seemingly improving Manuel.

Overall, I'd give Miami 6 wins (Wake, Wallace, Clay, Grimes, strong safety and Tannehill) at starter positions, the Bills 9 (Watkins, Wood, Graham/Williams, Gilmore, Robey, Spikes, Bradham, Carpenter, Spiller/Jackson) and a push on the remaining 8. No way they are a more talented team than us. Especially with their injuries. Not to say we can't lose, 'coz any given Sunday and all but the intangibles this weekend are completely on our side. I think the Dolphins are gonna be walking into a buzzsaw this week. And I'm NEVER this confident with the Bills.

Just saw this - "James had a rough game against New England, surrendering four quarterback pressures" #94, you are up..

I don't think Albert and Glenn are a wash--I've seen Albert play, and he's not the $9.5M/year player he's made out to be.

I'd take Glenn at equal pay any day.
