ch19079 Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 ill trust ya... are they lookin hard at anyone else?? and i agree with losman, i dout he will be around for us to pick him, unless we get a higher second rounder from a Henry trade.
shibuya Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 Baas will be gone in the lower half of the 1st rd IMO

I know he can play both but if read his bio at MGoBlue.com he's played most of his collegiate career at LG which is where I'd put him. He should be the 2nd OG selected with the top guy likely being Elton Brown from Virginia but sadly both of which I suspect will be gone by the Bills draft but one can hope either one would fall to us.
nodnarb Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 Rather have Elton Brown at G and Khalif Barnes at OT.

Haven't really paid attention to his play that much though, so I could certainly be wrong. If the Bills take him they'll almost certainly put him at RG - Teague is fine at Center.

He seemed to be very solid out there even though it was practice.
John from Riverside Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 Folks....we need to look to the biggest need we have on the OL first.... And that is Left Guard. Provided we can keep Jennings
Fixxxer Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 I don't think he will be there when we pick. He will be a late 1st rounder. IMO
TigerJ Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 Barnes is an intriguing player. He's a little bit light at the moment, but extremely quick on his feet and a great 40 time. If he's got the frame to add 20 lbs. he might be a great prospect.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted January 28, 2005 Posted January 28, 2005 Baas I think will be gone by the time we pick, but he'd be a great 2nd rounder. Very versatile.
Mark Vader Posted January 28, 2005 Posted January 28, 2005 Considering where the Bills pick, I would consider Baas to be a steal. Unless Donahoe does some wheeling and dealing before draft day, I can't see Baas lasting that long.
d_wag Posted January 28, 2005 Posted January 28, 2005 i think it's too early to pin down where baas will go........he is defantiely behind brown on most boards, and even behind brooks on some.......how often do 3 guards go before midway through the 2nd round? not very often.....guards generally slip year in and year out........people said steinbach wouldn't make it out of the first round, and he did.......
