BearsFan6 Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Hey Bills fans, just wanted to congratulate you guys on that win. You guys deserved it more than we did. Also, you guys overcame the refs, which was impressive. It seemed as if you guys were getting penalized way more than us, so nice job overcoming that. Coming into Chicago and winning is always tough. EJ Manuel impressed the heck out of me, and a lot of other Bears fans. With the Patriots not looking very sharp yesterday, I think you guys have a real shot at winning the division. Good luck in 2014.

BTW, feel free to continue posting here. We can always use more good posters from other teams.
Direhard Fan Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 I am impressed with Bears Fan6. nice touch to a good sport. Need more of that . Counting on our Bills to only get better.

Good luck the rest of the way.

Good luck in 2014. Welcome ! That is classy on your part. I watched the game with a Bears fan and he was quite disgusted with the lack of execution. IMHO, the Bears need to win inspite of Cutler. Re-build the D, draft another good RB (as good as Forte is, he cannot go on forever and he can use someone to spell him). It was just one game but a much needed one for the Bills. Tough road game coming up for you guys - good luck.
Matt in KC Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Good write up - glad I got to see some of the highlights like the Williams OT catch since I don't have game rewind. However, he writes that KW had 2 sacks? Not so. There were 2 plays Kyle couls have been given a half sack. I was surprised to seen none awarded when I checked the box score.

This win was sorely needed and I feel for you and the Bears, nobody likes to lose but I'm a big Cutler fan and I love your offense and think that you guys will win more than your share. Good luck on the rest of the way to you and the Bears.

I friggin hate twitter.

Perhaps someone can find published references to it (I'm on my iphone at the moment) but based on what has been reported, it was definitely elation.

Thanks for that.....I can relate to that sort of scream . I guess it was too difficult to tweet "Russ Brandon on the field after the game screaming at the top of his lung with elation." Understandably communication skills are not a high priority for reporters who tweet.
MDH Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 @DeadspinJay Cutler was the most catastrophic quarterback of Week 1 http://deadsp.in/uZEnIdf It's interesting that defensive players aren't give any credit in regards to win probability. If the O has a positive play it's positive WPA for them, if the D has a great play, it's negative WPA for the O.
