sodbuster
Yeah. I heard the Saints lost, so I looked at the stats. I was kind of surprised after they spent all that money in FA.
Alaska Darin
Signing new FA defensive players rarely works out the first season. It normally hurts the team they left more than it helps the team they sign with. I suspect the Saints' pass defense will improve as time goes on but I'm not at all surprised they got shredded today. FluffHead
400 yards against one player? Wow. But Byrd also had a great forced fumble and recovery on Julio jones in the red zone
The Dean
400 yards against one player? Wow. But Byrd also had a great forced fumble and recovery on Julio jones in the red zone That's the first thing I thought. Not that I care about Byrd (great guy, hope he does well unless he plays against the Bills). But blaming one DB (and a safety at that) seems pretty clueless. I feel good today...better than Jairus' feet anyway.

BreezeMafia
Was hoping some one was going to post this. I listened to the game winning FG on ride home from Eagles game. I am pissed I didnt draft Ryan when my gutt said he was going to be a stud this year.
BringBackFergy
I guess I don't understand the animosity towards ex bills I have no animosity toward SJ13....I do have a problem with a guy (and his agent) who wants to play for a winner (as opposed to Buffalo) and loses. If he plays in the secondary and 400+ yards were thrown against "his" squad, so be it.
Optometric Insight
400 yards against one player? Wow. But Byrd also had a great forced fumble and recovery on Julio jones in the red zone He did have a running back run right by him for a TD though, that made me smile a little. Dean Cain
Didn't see this game, but heard Byrd made a great play. Unfortunately he lost, but luckily he's got 15 games to turn things around.

ndirish1978
I guess I don't understand the animosity towards ex bills I think people get mad when players choose not to re-sign with us. Or you could just be a moron like Whitner and evoke hatred by trolling the fans who cheered for you even when you sucked.
LeGOATski
I bet if Byrd was still playing for us, he'd have intercepted the pass that AW got called for PI. Am I doing this right?

Miyagi-Do Karate
In all fairness to Byrd, he's not used to playing this early in the season. The guy is a monster on a balanced hours schedule.
