Over 29 years of fanhood Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Didn't see comments on this but did anyone notice the bills quietly ditched the no huddle? Several times they even got down to the last few ticks. Seems like a very good decision. Discuss ....
Big C Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 The offense was much better than advertised. They controlled the clock well and there were hardly any WTF calls.
Green Lightning Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Showed some maturation on Hackett's part. When EJ is ready, pick up the tempo. Right now, this is the way to go.
CountryCletus Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Noticed a HUGE difference in play calling!!!! I liked what I saw!!!
hondo in seattle Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Yep, I noticed. Instead of getting plays off in 15 seconds, the Bills were often close to Delay of Game penalties. Given the number of 3-and-outs we had last year, slowing the pace down seems like a sound decision.

Dean Cain Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 The key to me was an opportunistic defense generating 3 turnovers, and EJ playing efficiently and hitting WRs down the field. The running game & OL even TE positions were hitting.
