Kelly the Dog
Whaley said the other day, after Spiller had secured the agent, "Now we will get the process started," but that was it.
Kirby Jackson
He hired an agent recently. I would work on it; RBs are cheap!! His contract extension may very well be less than he makes now. I think that he is probably looking at like 4 years $20M. That would be a bump of $1M a year over what Reggie signed for.

Andrew Son
I assume it's not Parker? I know he said he talked to Byrd about the process
r00tabaga
No Parker. He has an agency that doesn't have any high profile clients except CJ, of course.
3rdand12
whaley was interviewed about it recently and he did say that they have begun discussions. I can't remember where or when but it was the Last day or 2. He has an agent and decent fellow. Did anyone realize the reason why CJ did not have an agent ? well it seems his agent passed away. I also read they were kinda close . I did not save the link nor recall where i read it. but i did . Spiller is one of those good people whether you think he is a bust or not. I hope Bills resign him. and I more hope he regains his form under Nate Hackett this year

Tampa Bob
CJ would be crazy to resign here. We have refused to use him through most of his career.
26CornerBlitz
CJ would be crazy to resign here. We have refused to use him through most of his career. CJ doesn't want to quit Buffalo. He's interested in signing a contract extension.

eball
Whaley said the other day, after Spiller had secured the agent, "Now we will get the process started," but that was it. Actually, I think Whaley specifically said they've already had a conversation with CJ's new agent.
bigK14094
In a perverse way, the bills failure to use CJ extensively has actually benefited CJ. A running backs physical condition is the sum of all the hits he takes. Since CJ takes fewer hits over 5 years, he likely is in better shape to last a couple of years longer. IMHO. eball
Prediction: CJ's price begins to go up today. The guy is primed to have the season this year we all expected last year.
26CornerBlitz
You're right. I wouldn't want to loose him. Hackett needs to loose him so he and the Bills' offense can have a good year. Edited September 7, 2014 by 26CornerBlitz
K D
Re-sign Spiller and cut loose Hackett. I'm sure any other OC on the planet could figure out how to get 2,000 all purpose yards from CJ
