boyst Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 it's a hoax, 4chan is paying tribute to Joan Rivers and one of the OG's of trolling by creating a hoax.
Chef Jim Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Not funny. it's a hoax, 4chan is paying tribute to Joan Rivers and one of the OG's of trolling by creating a hoax. Did you read it?
The Poojer Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Common people... This was declared a hoax last night
boyst Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Not funny. Did you read it? no, i just know they were trying to troll that she really did die after the hoax last night.
eSJayDee Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Well, if she "dyes" peacefully today, if she doesn't like the color, she can always dye again tomorrow.
Rob's House Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Even I find this offensive. I hope you didn't know it was a hoax when you started this thread.
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Hoax the word dyes was a good hint to that
Chef Jim Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 the word dyes was a good hint to that Considering the level of intelligence of the OP not at all.
Gugny Posted September 5, 2014 Author Posted September 5, 2014 I hope anyone saying they were offended is joking. If the post said "Dies," and it was an article about her hair ... yes ... offensive. It doesn't; so it isn't. I got duped by it. I laughed. It's funny.

It doesn't; so it isn't. I got duped by it. I laughed. It's funny. I wasn't offended. It takes a HELL of a lot more than that to offend me. But as I said it wasn't funny. In comedy timing is everything and though the timing could be considered perfect on this IMO it wasn't.

I am saddened by Joan Rivers' passing. When I read this, my first reaction was a loud, "Oh, no!!!" By the time my wife asked what was wrong, the spelling told him I'd been had. Never did I think, "so soon after Joan Rivers." But I can see how some might find the timing as lacking taste. I'm just not one of those people and I still think this was hilarious. Mostly because I got nailed by it.
