Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 That's great by me-- I love 1 pm start times.
TheBackupQB Posted September 3, 2014 Author Posted September 3, 2014 I like them to, just seem like in the past there were more 4pm games
Tyrod's Tailor Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 I like them to, just seem like in the past there were more 4pm games It's a reflection of our perception around the league. One season in the Jauron years we had all 16 at 1 pm IIRC. Needless to say the schedule makers do a good job.
IDBillzFan Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 We typically only have 2 or 3 games that are late games. I much prefer the 10 a.m. kickoffs (here on the left coast), because it gives more time in the day to get over the disappointment.
bowery4 Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 4pm games suck here in Thailand I have to get up at 3am to see them until you guys go to "fall back" and then it's 4. I missed the Jets game a couple of years ago because of that and one preseason game this year already. I don't like missing my team damn it.
bladiebla Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 I like them to, just seem like in the past there were more 4pm games Nah, most of the games have been 1PM games for years, I know because 1PM is great for us European viewers (7PM for us).
PromoTheRobot Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Is that normal? Too few. Usually we have 15 start at 1pm.
Nick the Greek Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 I thought we were suppose to have a Monday night game and also play on Thanksgiving?.. Whoops
8-8 Forever? Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 (edited) I thought we were suppose to have a Monday night game and also play on Thanksgiving?.. Whoops \The Bills have the lowest TV ratings in the NFL. What TV network scheduler would be dumb enough to put them on Monday night or T-Giving?? Give me a break. Might as well put an AHL game on Christmas Day and "hope for the best". From a national standpoint, the Bills are completely unmarketable at this point. If they come out 3-0, then you'll see them get regional looks against AFC East teams, but flexing the Bills to Sunday night is laughable. They'll be out of the running long before flexing starts. But the tailgates are great Edited September 3, 2014 by 8and8Forever
CodeMonkey Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 I wish they were all 1pm starts. Hey commish ... can you help a guy out please and change the schedule?

bowery4 Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 We actually have the 11th best TV ratings in the league. Shhhhh. We also haven't been 8-8 in like forever.
DefenseWinzChampionshipz Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 I used to care about start times and primetime games (and when I say "used to" I actually mean just a couple months ago) but something changed with me in that, all I care about now is just winning the game (no matter the time or day).
Max997 Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 I like them to, just seem like in the past there were more 4pm games past when? the Bills always play the majority of their games at 1 for awhile there the only game not a 1 was the Jets away game which is a 4 PM more often then not
IDBillzFan Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 You mean sober up Not any more...I'm too old to start drinking that early, but in the early days of my living in CA (some 20+ years ago) I'd watch the games in Santa Monica with the Bills Backers there, and it was just rugged for me.

But the tailgates are great I thought the flexing started much earlier this year...witness the game on fox this week. But maybe the night flexing still the same. BTW, I love the 1pm starts. DVR the game, DVR a 4 pm game, start watching about 4...catch up to the late Sunday night game bout halftime.
Iraq Vet Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 NFL should stagger starts. 12 Noon for AFC once week then 1PM for NFC. Then switch the next week. This way more games will be watched total. Advertisers would pay more for the 1st hour of the games.
