Finally got around to reading the Sunday paper today and came across this article detailing a new NFL broadcast policy.

Turns out games can now be flexed between networks and the Bills road game against NFC Chicago will be on FOX rather than CBS.

"When the Bills open their season in Chicago next Sunday, there will not be a CBS broadcast team in Soldier Field. Though the Bills are an AFC team playing on the road, the game will be carried on Fox. It is part of the NFL’s new cross-flexing policy, in which the league can move games between the two networks in order to balance the TV lineup of desirable games on a given Sunday."

Another game later in the season will flex also.

It's bizarre. It's like a bad 1990s transformers cartoon. No one at fox has thought to question the robot?

my 7 year old has a toy version of that robot (the buckeye one, they sell them for college and pro). I think they do it for the kids?

Oh, joy. Get ready for the dim colors and muted sounds on your TV, dancing robots from 1992, and announcers you never heard of.

OK, so I'm not the only one who hates the fox broadcast.

I can not believe that robot still exists.

the robot is the least bad part of the whole thing. From the shatty commentators to the terrible score ribbons and graphics to the Blair Witch Project style camera work, it irritates me.

As bad as our typical cbs crew is this fox one will be worse. I started to realize I prefer cbs coverage. Hell at least they will know our roster. Here is to the goose screwing half of it up and telling stupid stories.
