BillnutinHouston Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 Said TD in an interview about trading Henry. How can he talk with a straight face? What team wants to help a player? TD truly is the "white fox".

Man, if he could tell a lie without it actually being an outright lie any better than he does, he could shoot for the oval office.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 He's not lying. He said they're trying to help Travis, but they won't do it at the expense of the team. Had he said "we're going to do whatever Travis wants," it would be a different story.

Then he'll makes the calls, already knowing they will come close to meeting his asking price of a 2nd or 3rd round pick.

I wrote the same thing in an email to my brother this AM.

PIZ Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 TD is trying to "help" Miami like New England was trying to "help" us by trading us Bledsoe. See Super Bowls won. 220550[/snapback] Yeah, and I read a quote somewhere that said Saban and his scouts watched Travis stewing on the bench and they could tell that he was still a top caliber back.
eventualchamps Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 Given the fact that if we can't find a trading partner Henry will be back on our bench, I think TD is going out of his way to be very cooperative with him.
