26CornerBlitz Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 (edited) @WGR550 #Bills have released TE Tony Moeaki from the Reserve/Injured List. @buffalobills TE Tony Moeaki released from IR after reaching settlement http://ow.ly/AWBIT pic.twitter.com/oIREr6096P Edited September 1, 2014 by 26CornerBlitz
Saint Doug Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Not a bad idea. The guy has been perpetually injured.
VanCity Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 It's too bad as he had looked decent in his time with KC. But, based on the absolute nothing he provided the Bills with, he looks to be finished.
Green Lightning Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Sigh, I just got done declaring that all threads are EJ threads and now this. Has to be a bridge to EJ somehow. As for Moeaki, just one of those guys that can't stay on the field. I'm hoping Goodwin isn't another.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 I don't fault the bills for trying on a reclamation project, but it strikes me that these are never successful, even if the risk is minimal. They tried this with Marcus jones, Merriman, and moeaki-- and were basically 0 for 3 on those guys.
RJ (not THAT RJ) Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 (edited) He chose to be injured rather than catch passes from EJ. Edited September 1, 2014 by RJ (not THAT RJ)
BringBackFergy Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Once again, there goes my fantasy team. !@#$
Nick the Greek Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 He couldn't get over a hamstring injury? This is a disappointment all the way.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 1, 2014 Author Posted September 1, 2014 Once again, there goes my fantasy team. !@#$ Can I be in the same division as you in your fantasy league?
buffaloriles Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 I was hoping he'd push Chandler for starting. But we never got to see him in action. He chose to be injured rather than catch passes from EJ. +1. I bet he'd be a captain over EJ. Bring back Palmer.
Dorkington Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Shame. Was a good idea for the Bills to give it a shot, though. Similar to the Merriman experiment.
Mark Vader Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Oh well. Have to get a Tight End next year.
YoloinOhio Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Anyone else remember the poster who proclaimed Moeaki as a potential star because every time he played with him in Madden he scored TDs?
John from Riverside Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 This sounds like a situation where Tony thought he could play earier and asked to be released....... The bills thought different
MattM Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Anyone else remember the poster who proclaimed Moeaki as a potential star because every time he played with him in Madden he scored TDs? No, but I'll fess up and admit to bring excited when we signed him. I was at that KC game when he lit us up and looked like the next Tony G in that Chiefs uni. Boy, was I wrong!

I just found the Madden comment funny.
Beerball Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 damn, Lights Out had a better Bills career than Moeaki.
John from Riverside Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 It was worth a shot it didnt cost us anything to try....but we STILL dont have that great TE......only a good one
