mitchmurraydowntown Posted September 8, 2014 Author Posted September 8, 2014 Nice try, DB! You don't get off that easy. Mercy is for the weak.... EJ didn't set any franchise records or reinvent the position. I think he's a bottom half of the league QB right now that managed to not give the game away, so lets not get all high and mighty. If we had Cutler with our talent now, we'd have 400 yards passing.
Wayne Cubed Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Mercy is for the weak.... EJ didn't set any franchise records or reinvent the position. I think he's a bottom half of the league QB right now that managed to not give the game away, so lets not get all high and mighty. mitchmurraydowntown Posted September 8, 2014 Author Posted September 8, 2014 ...And a loss. Give me EJ's stats and win over Cutler's 400 yards and a loss any Sunday. So if we added 230+ passing yards to yesterday's game you think we lose ?
26CornerBlitz Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 So if we added 230+ passing yards to yesterday's game you think we lose ? Forget the yards. Bad decisions that Cutler makes on a regular basis very often add up to losing football. EJ outplayed him yesterday.
Captain Caveman Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 So if we added 230+ passing yards to yesterday's game you think we lose ? 230 yards passing and a couple of interceptions, yes, we lose.
RuntheDamnBall Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 One more interception, and EJ is on the sidelines with a pack of Pall Malls.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 230 yards passing and a couple of interceptions, yes, we lose. The McKelvin drop of a Cutler pass in OT was another horrible throw. Cutler is not a winner.
Canadian Bills Fan Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Russell Wilson's stats against GB this week... 19/28 for 191 yards and 2 TD's Proof that you dont need a lot of passing yards to win a game. CBF
mitchmurraydowntown Posted September 30, 2014 Author Posted September 30, 2014 (edited) I can't wait to see who steps up for EJ & say even though he's benched, he's our guy. This might be the shortest line at the football store, don't you think so ? Edited September 30, 2014 by mitchmurraydowntown
papazoid Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 The coaches & management are scrambling to get new QB's in house but I'd like to hear the EJ support from his teammates. Has any team members spoke up and said EJ is our QB or even mentioned leader ? The guy has been a hot mess this off-season, so are the players supporting him & his play ?? the players spoke volumes when they elected captains.
RuntheDamnBall Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 I can't wait to see who steps up for EJ & say even though he's benched, he's our guy. This might be the shortest line at the football store, don't you think so ? Throw a parade for yourself, for being so goddamn right about whatever it is you're right about.
mitchmurraydowntown Posted September 30, 2014 Author Posted September 30, 2014 Throw a parade for yourself, for being so goddamn right about whatever it is you're right about. I want the Bills to win & being right or wrong about the obvious shouldn't come down to me calling it.
RuntheDamnBall Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 I want the Bills to win & being right or wrong about the obvious shouldn't come down to me calling it. Again, why is this particular issue important to you?
RuntheDamnBall Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 From the NFL.com story: On Monday, running back C.J. Spiller threw his support behind Manuel in comments that appeared in a story posted to the Bills' official website shortly before Marrone's announcement. "People are going to try to divide us and point fingers saying who should start and who shouldn't start, but we have all the confidence in the world that he'll get the job done," Spiller said. "Yesterday was one that just got away from him. He'll learn from his mistakes, he takes it tough. But he'll be fine, we'll back him and we'll make sure he's ready for Detroit."
mitchmurraydowntown Posted September 30, 2014 Author Posted September 30, 2014 From the NFL.com story: Good for CJ, who didn't get the memo. Again, why is this particular issue important to you? I like to see dynamics, Spiller trying to be a leader is good thing to see.
