YoloinOhio Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 They cut Connor Shaw as well. Guess it's the money and hoyer show.
thr_wedge Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 I thought Grossman looked better than JFF and Hoyer. I'm surprised.
Max997 Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 How did I know there would be a Grossman thread No thanks
Fixxxer Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 They cut Connor Shaw as well. Guess it's the money and hoyer show. FWIW, I liked his play this pre-season.
bladiebla Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 Grossman his early years remind me of EJ his current years... :/
Buffalo Barbarian Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 I wouldn't be upset but rather have a younger guy that can be developed.
26CornerBlitz Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 I would take Grossman over Orton. Not me, Rex is Gross Man! Peyton Manning thanks him for being the opposing QB in his only SB win.
Mr. WEO Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 Not me, Rex is Gross Man! Peyton Manning thanks him for being the opposing QB in his only SB win. Manning should thank him. It's the only way he wins a SB.
Best Player Available Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 So how much does a Grossman cost? league minimum?
Spillnation Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 Signing Grossman would make what was our worst position depth, now our best. Do it. Ej fails, Orton gets hurt , We still could make the playoffs with Grossman.
HOUSE Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 (edited) We are looking for a develop-MENTAL quarterback. A real phyco Somebody like Terrelle Pryer. Man, that guy can run........... -- Edited August 31, 2014 by HOUSE

Ej fails, Orton gets hurt , We still could make the playoffs with Grossman. Judging from the bolded part of your post, you haven't seen Grossman play lately. I cannot agree because even when Grossman was in the prime of his career he was a below average starter. He has gotten much worse over time.
YoloinOhio Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 @ProFootballTalk: Rex Grossman's absence from Cleveland might be a short one http://t.co/OtOFbjP943
Mango Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 (edited) I would have preferred Rex over Orton. Orton has checked out at this point in his career. Edited August 31, 2014 by Mango
YoloinOhio Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 I would have preferred Rex over Orton. Orton has checked out at this point in his career. He was checked out of the Big D. He wanted a new team. http://www.bloggingtheboys.com/2014/5/17/5725370/dallas-cowboys-backup-quarterback-kyle-orton-on-his-way-out
Spillnation Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 We are looking for a develop-MENTAL quarterback. A real phyco Somebody like Terrelle Pryer. Man, that guy can run........... -- I like that idea as well.. developmental like EJ, showed glimpses of raw talent and we don't have a first. Ultimately I think we need 3 qbs on this roster with Tuel on PS.
Fadingpain Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Sign Grossman if he is available and cut whoever we have to to make room for him. Some day people will catch on that the QB is an important position in the NFL in the year 2014.
Mike in Horseheads Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Don't the Bills play the Browns this year? Bring him in for interrogation er I mean a interview.
