BUFFALO BILLS (6-10)

E J Manuel, quarterback: Last season the Bills were among the N.F.L.’s best teams in running the ball and in stopping the run. The problem was that once the ball was in the air, on offense or on defense, they fell apart. A big leap, and a good run of health, by Manuel could revitalize the franchise as its future in Buffalo remains uncertain.

Top passing d, poor run d last year. Yup, no homework done here. Also I will add the bills running offense amassed lots of yards, it had a lot to do with the number of plays run. YPC which in my mind is more significant regarding effectiveness made them middle of the pack.

The real story is they had some probowlers and showed signs they can play d and the team and coaching staff are young. Adding spikes an Preston brown with Schwarz should improve the run defense and if they grow into their potential they have a shot at contending.
