bowery4 Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 DOUGS, GET THIS DONE, he is an ideal back up (since we haven't got one at all, even better), plus we can do some crazy gadget plays!
Big C Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Pryor is lethal on the run. He almost best the Colts last year opening week. I'd give it a shot.
VanCity Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 This. Needs. To. Happen I watched each of the Hawks preseason games. The guy can toss the pigskin and is as fleet of foot as anyone in the league at QB. Very surprised he was cut
NoSaint Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 I don't see a downside. He's not THE answer, but he could atleast help with some answers.
GG Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 The upshot is that a superbowl champion is entrusting its 2nd string QB duties to a guy these Bills coaches thought wasn't even worthy of a training camp invite.
bowery4 Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 I'd still sign him. when opportunity knocks you have to answer the door. DOUG, THERE"S SOMEONE AT THE DOOR!
reddogblitz Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 (edited) I'd still sign him. when opportunity knocks you have to answer the door. DOUG, THERE"S SOMEONE AT THE DOOR! In deed. I am excited about Orton, but we should go after Pryor TOO. Lets stop fooling around. Edited August 30, 2014 by reddogblitz
FluffHead Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 @ByTimGraham: Texted a Bills source what he thought about adding Terrell Pryor. The response: "LOL"
Kirby Jackson Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 @ByTimGraham: Texted a Bills source what he thought about adding Terrell Pryor. The response: "LOL" Keep in mind these are the guys that assembled Maunel, Tuel, and Thad. They really aren't in any position to judge QBs.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Keep in mind these are the guys that assembled Maunel, Tuel, and Thad. They really aren't in any position to judge QBs. Good point. They probably said LOL when Russell Wilson was on the board.
DirtDart Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 (edited) Maybe we can talk Favre out of retirement. Edited August 30, 2014 by DirtDart
Deranged Rhino Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Sign me up for the idea of Pryor as our #3. If they pulled this off after the Orton signing it would completely restore my faith in Whaley.
Kelly the Dog Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Sign me up for the idea of Pryor as our #3. If they pulled this off after the Orton signing it would completely restore my faith in Whaley. The PS, something dear to your heart, was increased to 10 players. Tuel is eligible if the Bills coaches and GM still have some fascination with him. I don't understand it but whatever. Pryor's contract for this year is $705,000. There would be no bonus to sign him, just pick him up on waivers and make him your #3. If EJ goes down you got a vet Orton and a wildcard in Pryor behind him. I would do it in a second and stop this Tuel farce.
DirtDart Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Remember last year? The majority of the board wanted Tuel to start over EJ.
Kelly the Dog Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Remember last year? The majority of the board wanted Tuel to start over EJ. No it didn't. Just the vocal (read: retarded) minority.

Bills Fan since '64 Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Tuel has a nice deep ball, and good pocket presence/awareness. Agree - but in preseason games only
BuffaloBillsMagic1 Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 We have the money, he is better than Tuel, so sign him!
machine gun kelly Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Maybe we can talk Favre out of retirement. How about Marino or Montana?
