YoloinOhio Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 @RapSheet: The #Seahawks have released QB Terrelle Pryor, source says
dayman Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 (edited) Consensus: Bring in literally anybody. People were bummed we cut Palmer...bring in anybody Edited August 30, 2014 by MoreOffense
YoloinOhio Posted August 30, 2014 Author Posted August 30, 2014 Works for me We do need a TE Ok ok - he's better than Tuel. Fine.
The Dean Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Sure. Better than Tuel. Still I would like to see a veteran brought in, if possible (and not one that has been sitting all preseason).
Kirby Jackson Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 We do need a TE Ok ok - he's better than Tuel. Fine. Obviously a fan but what does EJ do better than TP? He is certainly better than the backups.
Kelly the Dog Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Get Pryor in. Let him be your #3 and long term grooming project instead of Tuel. Still trade for or sign a competent vet backup like Ponder or Grossman, who would be a bad starter but decent #2 for a while.
Tyrod's Tailor Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 (edited) Pryor knows how to improvise, which sounds like a much better offensive plan than Nathaniel's. Edited August 30, 2014 by billsfaninmanhattan
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Consensus: Bring in literally anybody. People were bummed we cut Palmer...bring in anybody Haha; I know. Everyone thinks anybody is better than tuel. The reason these guys are better than tuel is because they never play, so they never show how bad they are. Jordan Palmer gets picked up because he looks like a QB. When he plays, he is a disaster.
YoloinOhio Posted August 30, 2014 Author Posted August 30, 2014 Obviously a fan but what does EJ do better than TP? He is certainly better than the backups. TP is pretty careless with the ball and not much of a leader. I'd be fine with him as the #2.

IMO they think anyone in the NFL is better than Tuel because most (but not all) QBs in the NFL, even if they suck, have a discernible NFL quality skill or physical attribute. Tuel has none. Even guys with none, like Kellen Moore, are better players and prospects than Tuel.
dayman Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 TP is pretty careless with the ball and not much of a leader. I'd be fine with him as the #2. If Ej plays as he has for the first 3/4 games of the season let us see how good of a "leader" he is. Seriously this isn't highschool...that crap is for the birds. Make it rain or get lost. This is the NFL.

Solomon Grundy Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Sure. Better than Tuel. Still I would like to see a veteran brought in, if possible (and not one that has been sitting all preseason). Agreed!
FluffHead Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 He's not great but he's a big time upgrade over Jeff Fool. If Fool had to play we would be running the ball 45 times anyway. At least TP could keep 10-15 of those runs and be a threat
reddogblitz Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Come on Doug's, it's all set up. Pull the trigger. The guy is big, can pass decently and can carve up D's running the football. If he were to come in for EJ there would be little if any drop off.
Kelly the Dog Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Tuel has a nice deep ball, and good pocket presence/awareness. Tuel has a lob for a deep ball. He doesn't throw the deep ball well at all, unless there is no one covering the WR. In that case, he is usually pretty accurate though. I will give him that. His deep ball is not up to NFL standards though if there is any coverage, it's an easy pick. IMO he has terrible pocket presence whenever there is a rush. Sometimes he will escape and run decently. More often he folds and gets killed and has a penchant for fumbling. The Rams may want Pryor but the Bills, with one less win, would get him on waivers if they both put in claims.
reddogblitz Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Tuel has a nice deep ball, and good pocket presence/awareness. Give it up. Tuel stinks. Bring in Pryor, a real QB. And if called into action he could run the read option that Coach Marrone and Hackett Jr. Have been dreaming about.
offyourocker Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 No brainer in my opinion. He can play. He might actually surprise people with the talent we have at receiver.
