We need roster space till the OL and WR spots are settled. The DL is not a problem area

one would believe this would be in place of one of our DEs, not an OL

You're right, and we also have the right to flame you for your backward thinking.

I didn't flame him or bash him or be disrespectful to him, all i said is i have the right to disagree with it. No need to stir up a big argument over it. There is always 2 sides to the fence, everyone has a choice on which side to choose and that is their right.

Your quote says "I dont want Sam on this team because he is gay" Your hatred towards him because of his lifestyle is like mentioned backwards.

i was going to avoid it but.... well.... to say he shouldnt be employed by a football team you like is pretty disrespectful. you have chosen your side of the fence by not being gay. the rest is you going around the fence and messing up his lawn.

But if every GM felt this way, it would be job discrimination. Sam didn't choose to be gay, black, or born in 1990. If he's good enough to play in the league, he's good enough. If the NFL was a character-based operation, I think Sam wouldn't be high on the list of people who need to go first.

I mean, you could start with "very heterosexual" borderline HOFer Charles Haley if you wanted to look at the kind of people who inhabit the league and what goes on in the locker room... http://tinyurl.com/56uoxp

And kickoff specialists! Because we will have one kickoff per game to worry about!

I was thinking the same thing when Marrone said he'd like a KO specialist. In order to kick off, u need to SCORE... i'd worry alot more about how to score than someone who can kick off when we may only do so either at start of game or after halftime! and the token Carp FG!

IM trying to figure out where all this depth is at LB/DE. If Hughes or one of our OLBs should go down for awhile. Who is the next man up?

we have no pass rushers behind Mario and Hughes. People think our DL is deep because the DT position is but The DE position is thin.

weve considered DE outside of mario to be incredibly thin all offseason and suddenly its so good that we shouldnt even glance at adding to it.

Hell no. We shouldn't sign him, just like he has the right to be gay I have the right to disagree with it.

Sounds like you are struggling with sexuality. The guys who have the most problem with homosexuality are the ones who are conflicted or struggle to get laid. I feel sorry for you.

And Sam as a football player had a solid preseason. I'd sign him in a second.

He had a great preseason. The rams will be lucky if he clears waivers. Pass rushers are coveted.

@ChrisTrapasso: Michael Sam very well could find himself on a 53-man roster soon. And as @SalSports said, #Bills could look into signing him. DE depth.

I feel bad for him. Personally i think he can play or at least deserves the right to be on a PS. IF he is not on one it is solely the media's fault. Teams do not like distractions, much less ones that come with a fringe type player, IE Tebow. The media might just ruin this person's hopes and dreams, not him being gay. If him being gay is not a big deal, which i don't think it is, than the media needs to stop all the extra coverage. It is a shame, the media and access we have is great but it is a slippery slope.

Looks like he might not make it. He has looked pretty good in the PS, but the Rams DE depth is too much. We need some depth pass rushers behind Mario and Hughes.

Ian Rapoport@RapSheet 10s

Interesting RT @MikeSilver: I do not expect Michael Sam to end up on the Rams' 53-man roster. But could absolutely end up on some team's 53

IMO - this team could actually use a distraction.

you mean the Koolaid the Bills are serving this year isn't tasty enough for ya..lol

But seriously, Sam was a LB in college playing DE in the preseason. guy has to much to learn as it is.

Orton is distraction enough for now.
