Over 29 years of fanhood Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 See ya tj graham. Good riddance Last years #2 WR on the depth chart. Best of luck to him.... Good to see this group getting better
Solomon Grundy Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Is there a waiver wire wish list thread? I'd love an upgrade to Lee Smith
26CornerBlitz Posted August 30, 2014 Author Posted August 30, 2014 Assume so. He looks like a slightly better prospect than Gay but who knows. @MatthewFairburn Colton Schmidt could be both the punter and kickoff specialist the #Bills are looking for. Had a productive preseason in San Fran.
RyanC883 Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 I would assume Ladler is a prime PS candidate especially considering the severity of Meeks' injury isn't really known at this point. This is also the 2nd year in a row Meeks has been injured I thought Ladler looked pretty good. But we are deep at this position. Hope he ends up here on the PS
26CornerBlitz Posted August 30, 2014 Author Posted August 30, 2014 Here's to finding a way to make this happen: @JoeBuscaglia Wouldn't be shocked if the #Bills try to get Kraig Urbik to take a pay cut and then cut Legursky if they agree. Urbik > Legursky
JM57 Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Is there a waiver wire wish list thread? I'd love an upgrade to Lee Smith I've been watching the interior OL (Urbik/Legursky), TE (Gragg/Smith) and developmental QBs(Tuel) that have been cut. Nothing too promising on any fronts IMO until 2 mins ago when I saw the Browns cut Connor Shaw. He's better than Jeff Tuel. Today.
26CornerBlitz Posted August 30, 2014 Author Posted August 30, 2014 @RapSheet The #Bills are releasing QB Jeff Tuel, source says. I guess with the signing of Kyle Orton it makes sense. They loved Tuel last camp tho
26CornerBlitz Posted August 30, 2014 Author Posted August 30, 2014 @ChrisBrownBills #Bills sign P Colton Schmidt. Was with 49ers this preseason. Had some good numbers.
Doc Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 @MatthewFairburn Colton Schmidt could be both the punter and kickoff specialist the #Bills are looking for. Had a productive preseason in San Fran. Yay! No idea. Hell the 49'ers released a guy (Colton Schmidt, who wasn't going to beat out Andy Lee) who led all punters in pre-season in net average, albeit on only 7 punts, who I'd rather have.
Sig1Hunter Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 (edited) @RapSheet The #Bills are releasing QB Jeff Tuel, source says. I guess with the signing of Kyle Orton it makes sense. They loved Tuel last camp tho If true, this is surprising to me. I would have thought that they would keep someone that knows the playbook behind EJ, in the event that he is hurt early on in the season. Once Orton was up to speed, then I figured that Tuel would be shown the door. I'm guessing he has a decent shot as PS, though, right? Edited August 30, 2014 by Sig1Hunter
26CornerBlitz Posted August 30, 2014 Author Posted August 30, 2014 Legursky cut...Urbik stays @JoeBuscaglia #Bills are cutting Doug Legursky per league source. Urbik sticks.
Kelly the Dog Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Legursky cut...Urbik stays More signs of cluism. Although that was mostly a no brainer.
26CornerBlitz Posted August 30, 2014 Author Posted August 30, 2014 @MatthewFairburn Bills cut Jimmy Gaines, Bryan Johnson, Caleb Holley, Antoine McClain, Kenny Ladler, Ike Igbinosun, Deon Broomfield, D. Legursky, Jeff Tuel. @buffalobills #Bills trim roster to 53 http://ow.ly/ATNFa pic.twitter.com/xR34UHacng
artmalibu Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Thank God the Tuel experiment is OVER! He will be in the PS
26CornerBlitz Posted August 30, 2014 Author Posted August 30, 2014 @ChrisBrownBills #Bills trim roster to 53. Tuel, T.J. Graham, Legursky among them. http://bit.ly/1sRK27L
VanCity Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 He will be in the PS Why? Because he knows the offense? Because he has shown much of anything? There are far better project QB's out there. Tuel should find a new career path
Kelly the Dog Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Why? Because he knows the offense? Because he has shown much of anything? There are far better project QB's out there. Tuel should find a new career path It's probably a good idea to keep him on PS for a few weeks just in case EJ goes down. When Orton has been on the team a month they could sign a different QB to groom. I don't think they will but they should. I think Tuel stinks but it's probably prudent to keep him a few weeks.
