Kelly the Dog
ESPN's Adam Caplan reports the Bills have had WR T.J. Graham on the trade block "for several months." It's hardly surprising, as it's been assumed Graham's roster spot was in danger since the end of last season. Graham has had a quiet camp, and caught only two passes through four preseason games. The Bills' new brain trust has no allegiance to former GM Buddy Nix's 2012 third-round pick. Whaley is pretty good at this kind of stuff, as evidenced by the Hughes for Sheppard trade, and even Thad for Chris White (which worked for a year at least). He may still be able to pry a back-up that can contribute for a backup that cannot.

Carolina or Cleveland might be interested. @caplannfl Tonight's games are important for many backups as they'll be auditioning, in a sense, for other teams. For example, the #Bills have had WR T.J. Graham on the trade block for several months, sources said. Edited August 28, 2014 by 26CornerBlitz
FireChan
How many trade partners are out there for Hogan?
Deranged Rhino
If Whaley can pull another rabbit out of his hat and trade someone who's destined to be cut in the next 72 hours, that would be incredible. I just don't see it happening without him being showcased tonight. Let's see how many balls he has thrown his way tonight, I'm guessing he'll once again be invisible though not for lack of effort. RuntheDamnBall
It's kind of wild that a WR known for his speed, who can't catch a cold and has been hobbling post-surgery, can't find any suitors.
Saint Doug
Isn't the NFL already full of undersized WRs trying (and failing) to make a name for themselves? I guess a 7th rounder would be better than nothing, but I'm sure he'll be cut outright and become a statistic.

RuntheDamnBall
TJ for Christian Ponder Why on earth would the Vikes want to do this?
Fan in Chicago
Whaley is pretty good at this kind of stuff, as evidenced by the Hughes for Sheppard trade, and even Thad for Chris White (which worked for a year at least). He may still be able to pry a back-up that can contribute for a backup that cannot. And yet couldn't get anything for TJ. Quite telling. Assuming we keep 6 WRs, the marginal player is better to be ST contributor like Easley or a hard worker like Hogan.
26CornerBlitz
TJ for Christian Ponder I can't see it since they already have a good receiving corps with Patterson, Jennings, and Rudolph.

bonechiller
TJ for Cousins! yeah, and a second round pick, heck I bet we could even get them to throw in a pick for next year also! Yeah right, dreaming is fun!

RuntheDamnBall
I think if Whaley really holds his position and builds a time machine, he could trade TJ and his superior athleticism to the "Wide World of Sports" for some ABC mic flags.

John from Riverside
I realize that the trade is a bit imbalanced........ That said Ponder is the 3rd QB on their roster......it would take a little more then Graham but not THAT much more
