Bangarang Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 (edited) Pretty annoying to get an alert on my phone that we've cut 11 yet I can't find any more information on the Bills site. Why don't they put up the story first and then send the alert? Edited August 25, 2014 by Bangarang
Kirby Jackson Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 What a joke this team is!! I cannot believe that they cut Derek Brim. Now, it's just more dead money on the cap!! This is the front office admitting failure. What a disgrace.
CodeMonkey Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 Walmart guy (Harley) didn't make it. Bummer. Could have been a nice story for him and his family. My wife will be disappointed. She liked his story as well and was looking forward to cheering for him Thursday.
thewildrabbit Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 (edited) I'm upset they didn't keep macky mac...well, not really. Dennis Dixon didn't even get a long look. Tuel, Lewis are the keepers... Edited August 25, 2014 by FeartheLosing

This is the front office admitting failure. What a disgrace. I'm so done with this team. This is exactly like in 1932 when Dingus McDermott was cut from the Ithaca Spitoons and he went on to star for three years in the Canadian semi pro league. They cannot recognize latent and dormant talent.

Storm Front Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 Harley probably gets another look on the PS.

Dorkington Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 Nothing surprising... sucks for Hopkins, I thought he was good enough to be on a roster, but Carpenter came in while he was injured and has been damned solid.

Cut down day is always sad news for someone,. The typically, at this stage anyway, it should come as no surprise. With regard to Hopkins, since he was a KO specialist, shouldn't he have kicked off much better than Carpenter?
Coach Tuesday Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 In all seriousness, that makes two draft picks they've wasted on kickers in the past three years. And before you say, "Those are just seventh round picks," take a look at our starting right tackle.
4merper4mer Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 (edited) Carpenter had a great year last year, there is no denying that, but I have a feeling Hopkins will have a productive career. Carpenter will be done in 2-3 years, if not this year. Last year may have been a fluke as he was cut from 14 teams last Summer. Edited August 25, 2014 by 4merper4mer
hondo in seattle Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 If you were a real Spitoons fan, you would know that McDermott was cut in '33. And they cut him early so he would have the opportunity to latch on with another team.
