Best Player Available Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Why they didn't trade Branch to the Packers for Aaron Rodgers is puzzling.
Kelly the Dog Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Why they didn't trade Branch to the Packers for Aaron Rodgers is puzzling. It really is. Or Bart Starr even.
3rdand12 Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 (edited) I agree he needs to go. Now we are running a tad thin on the DT depth chart. Landon Cohen ! Come on down ! How much does a guy that huge have to drink to blow a .14? 5 beers in one hour. 5 shots . five glasses of wine pick the poison. any of those. in one hour.or ten beers over 5 hours. etc etc. like i said . he is weak . weight has little to do with how the kidneys process alcohol who is raji playing for again ? we need a fat kid ! RuntheDamnBall Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Wow. I know he walks out of the door having stolen a lot of the Bills' money, but he is not going down a good road. I hope he gets help from someone who cares.
26CornerBlitz Posted August 24, 2014 Author Posted August 24, 2014 @caplannfl Branch signed a 3-year extension with $3.1 M fully guaranteed less than 9 months ago. #Bills got nothing out of the extension.
Buffalo_Stampede Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 I must say, crazy spring and summer for Bills family.

This is, I guess, where your pro scouts really have to have done their work to determine whether the guy has the desire to be a great player for years, or is just looking for a decent payday. It turns out it was the latter, it seems.

He was a vet that thought he could turn it on and off when he needed to. But that obviously wasn't the case this year. It's kind of hard to predict this kind of meltdown though when he has done it before and it worked out for him and his team.

Bill from NYC Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 He was a bust for Arizona after a good sized rookie deal. He played hard for Seattle and buffalo for another contract. It's time for him to be lazy again. The above is a great point! Its a shame though because he was damn good last season.

The difference is last year he communicated with the Bills about his wife expecting their child. This year there was no communication WRT what he was thinking and why he wasn't around. The situation was compounded by showing up out of shape with the final straw being the DWI arrest. Gonna be hard to explain this to his wife.

BuffaloBillsMagic1 Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Sure in general, but Branch's behavior since signing that contract is completely outrageous. He's got to go. Right move in today,s society with lazy footballers

RuntheDamnBall Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Other than he has walked with 3.1MM. Assuming he invests it wisely even after the initial tax hit he is doing well. That sounds like a giant assumption for a man who has just been caught driving at almost twice the legal limit and has done a lot to sabotage his future earning power in the NFL.
