Hardcore Bills Fan
Link here Or, as I like to call it, "Buy low, sell high, watch the bubble burst." I bet his style doent mesh well when the QB doesnt know where he will be

Kelly the Dog
"lack of chemistry"--i.e., freelancing the route so the QB has no idea of where Stevie's going to be? I'm shocked... Maybe Stevie needs to go and play in Houston where Fitz is the only QB in the league smart enough to know where Stevie is going.
HalftimeAdjustment
Maybe Stevie needs to go and play in Houston where Fitz is the only QB in the league smart enough to know where Stevie is going. If the 49ers released him I could see that happening. However... they will have some serious egg on their face for giving up any draft pick and then releasing a veteran with 3 1,000 yd seasons for salary cap reasons. Makes you think it could be a coaching issue.
YoloinOhio
"lack of chemistry"--i.e., freelancing the route so the QB has no idea of where Stevie's going to be? I'm shocked... kap is a young QB with accuracy issues. Rinse and repeat.
Miyagi-Do Karate
Judging from some of the more knowledgeable comments, this article is probably off-base.

Luxy312
Stevie has a piss poor work ethic. I'm not surprised that he's flaking out in San Francisco.
The Wiz
He won't be back in Buffalo, we basically cut him. When's the last time we cut someone and got a draft pick out if it?
The Underdog
Is Stevie a standout #1 receiver? No... But I like his game a lot and I would gladly welcome him back. I don't think its gonna happen though
mitchmurraydowntown
When's the last time we cut someone and got a draft pick out if it? Stevie was gone one way or another, fishing a 4th from San Fran was a gift.
prissythecat
I thought Stevie was going to "tear it up" with the 49ers based on what a number of our resident football experts said.

1B4IDie
The Bills effectively traded Stevie Johnson for Bryce Brown and Seantrel Henderson. That's a one sides trade if ever there was one.
The Wiz
Stevie was gone one way or another, fishing a 4th from San Fran was a gift. A 4th, possible 3rd was a gift but I don't think he would have left with less than a 5th in a trade. Hell, we got caveman Mike for a 6th and he put up better numbers in TB minus last season because of injury. Mike had 25 TD's in 54 games vs SJ with 76 games and 28 TD's. I liked Stevie a lot but I think we are better off without him at this point. Edited August 22, 2014 by The Wiz
