TSOL Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 (edited) I remember being like 10, going to a bills game with my Dad, asking to use the binoculars, and just staring at the Jills almost all game. My boys are gonna miss that glory. Edited August 22, 2014 by mastershake

Ted William's frozen head Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 This Link from the Bills about Kids Day activities mentions "the introduction of Stampede, the brand new Buffalo Bills Drum Corp" I hear that the 'Canadian Ballet' is available!
BillsBytheBay Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Do they have to buy their own uniforms, drum kits, for less than minimum wage too? most musicians own their own instruments. If their counting on a job that only has 8 days of actual work, yea.... I can't believe anyone would think that's a job.
Big Turk Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Just go to the Galleria on any Saturday and you'd find far better eye candy than the Jills

I can't believe anyone would think that's a job. I see this kind of thing on here often. Why do yall think that because someone does something for an NFL team that could be perceived as a plum position or glamorous or fun, they shouldn't be paid a decent wage for what they do? Musicians while doing what they love also spend a lot of time alone and as a group working on their skills while others are watching TV or partying. The NFL is flush with cash. Why shortchange the little guy? It's just greed pure and simple. And no drum crops or marching band that I've ever been a part of or known about has made it's members supply their own drums. Obviously you don't know anything about drum corps or you would have known that. But don't let that stop you. And come to think of it, aren't football players doing what they love? If they weren't in the NFL they'd probably be playing flag football or semi pro football. So why the big cash for them? If their counting on a job that only has 20 days of actual work, yea.... I can't believe anyone would think that's a job. Edited August 23, 2014 by reddogblitz
CountryCletus Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Did they pass the Jiggle test? I'm more concerned with if they passed the piss test... Don't want to read about them on PFT!!! Lol
ExiledInIllinois Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 The jets have a drum corps as well That's because they get their fill of sexual harassment in the concourses of the stadium.

Thunderstealer Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 This Link from the Bills about Kids Day activities mentions "the introduction of Stampede, the brand new Buffalo Bills Drum Corp" Since the drums are the coolest instrument invented, this is great news.
EasternOHBillsFan Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Since the drums are the coolest instrument invented, this is great news. Anything not brass does not qualify for the "coolest instrument invented"

reddogblitz Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 (edited) and yet some people make enough money off of music they can threaten to buy you're football team. People get paid for talent. Not what they do. I disagree. Making it big in the music industry id based on talent by any means. Music is like anything else. You get rich off of what you can sell. Who is a better musician, John Williams, or Jon Bon Jovi? John MacLaughlin or Richie Sambora? Rihanna or Denise Graves? Frank Zappa or the GoGos? As a guy who frequents blues jams all across the country I can tell you unequivocally there are monster musicians not getting paid squat all around the world. I'm not saying Jon is not talented, but music is definitely not a business where the best make the most money. Edited August 25, 2014 by reddogblitz
