4merper4mer Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 I'm calling BS on this one. There's two sides to every story and this girl's account is way too stupid to be true. My guess is she was acting like an a-hole, was asked to leave for being disruptive and immediately went to Twitter or Facebook with her story of religious persecution. Bold prediction: a more balanced retelling will come out and this thread will promptly fall off the map. Carry on with your circle jerk. According to the article which you did not read, their teacher, Mrs. Frenkle, had been mocking them for their religion so they started getting obnoxious back at her by loudly saying bless you. It is just people being jerks to each other again. I did not know your wife was also bald and mad at the big man.
4merper4mer Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 (edited) <ACHOO!> I am too afraid of Mrs. Frenkle to respond. Edited August 22, 2014 by 4merper4mer

Azalin Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Nyarlathotep orr'e athgnyth s'uhn, Yoggoth. well, this is waaaay off-topic, but to share with an apparent fellow Lovecraft nerd.....
....lybob Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 well, this is waaaay off-topic, but to share with an apparent fellow Lovecraft nerd..... nice pic, I don't think the size is quite right he should be able to lug around an aircraft carrier or two under each arm.
Chef Jim Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 well, this is waaaay off-topic, but to share with an apparent fellow Lovecraft nerd..... Beat this Lovecraft nerd. I own a first edition copy of The Outsider and Others. Only 1200 printed.
Gene Frenkle Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 If you're stupid enough of a teacher to literally ban the words "bless you" in class -- which this educator clearly did -- then you're precisely the kind of full gatorman moronic douchebag teacher who deserves every inch what you're getting. You're paid to teach. Period. If you'd STFU with everything else in your holier-than-thou idiotic mind, you wouldn't be so easily challenged by a freaking student half your freaking age. But hey...you go with that whole "two sides to every story" thing, mmmkay? Blessed Lord, Our Wet Mucus Evaporate Nice holier-than-thou reference in the middle of a holier-than-thou rant.
Azalin Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 nice pic, I don't think the size is quite right he should be able to lug around an aircraft carrier or two under each arm. yeah, you're right about that. I just really liked the image. Beat this Lovecraft nerd. I own a first edition copy of The Outsider and Others. Only 1200 printed. seal that baby up in plastic and lock it away! that's got to be worth something. Blessed Lord, Our Wet Mucus Evaporate Nice holier-than-thou reference in the middle of a holier-than-thou rant. why do the heathen rage?
DC Tom Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Blessed Lord, Our Wet Mucus Evaporate Nice holier-than-thou reference in the middle of a holier-than-thou rant. "Expectorate" works better than "evaporate."
Gene Frenkle Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 "Expectorate" works better than "evaporate." I wanted to make sure to use words he'd understand, but I like it!
DC Tom Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 I wanted to make sure to use words he'd understand, but I like it! I don't think anyone was going to understand a word that made absolutely no !@#$ing sense in context.
Chef Jim Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 seal that baby up in plastic and lock it away! that's got to be worth something. I used to have it wrapped up but was told that's the best way to store it. I do not have the original dust cover. If I did it would be worth $5-7k. Mine's probably worth "only" $2k. Not a bad ROI seeing my wife bought it for me for $350. That's just one of several first editions I have. I love collecting books
