stevestojan Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 well, except with this guy http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/01/26/airplane....ggle/index.html Seriously, this could have gotten really ugly had the passangers not kicked his ass...
Alaska Darin Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 Damn, Def Leppard has fallen on hard times.
KD in CA Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 My favorite airline story is still the guy from New York that got sh-- faced and took a dump on the drink cart after the stewardess cut him off.
eball Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 Damn, Def Leppard has fallen on hard times. 219752 i read this before looking at the link, then clicked it and laughed out loud. excellent.
theNose76 Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 Egyed was taken into custody when the plane landed. Authorities said he is unemployed and lives in Philadelphia. Absolutely shocking that he's unemployed.
bflo83 Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 Just another Iggles fan trying to get down to Florida....
Coach Tuesday Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 Damn, Def Leppard has fallen on hard times. 219752 Looks more like Air Supply to me...
Pete Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 I wish I was on that plane. Every time I fly I look out for the potential terrorist. I will literally kill any person who trys to go into the cockpit
stevestojan Posted January 27, 2005 Author Posted January 27, 2005 I wish I was on that plane. Every time I fly I look out for the potential terrorist. 219972 I always do a quick scan as well. More importantly, I look for someone who would help me. It's obvious who the guys are that have that crazy look in their eye - the good kind of crazy... like "if someone stands up and goes towards the cockpit, they'll be eating out of a straw for the rest of their life" look....
jarthur31 Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 Absolutely shocking that he's unemployed. 219772 How did afford a plane ticket?
duey Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 I like the fact that ever since 9/11, whenever some douchbag flips out on a plane, the passengers can't wait to beat the snot out of him.
Typical TBD Guy Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 Is it just me or does the guy sort of look like Robert Downey, Jr.??? Anyway, the guy probably has some sort of mental illness. It's interesting how everyone here is quick to call him "stupid" and so forth, but the reason why he's unemployed and babbling on about government conspiracies in a cockpit may just be because he needs some meds. Go check out "A Beautiful Mind," and you'll see that intelligence has no corollation with mental illness.

"Egyed was taken into custody when the plane landed. Authorities said he is unemployed and lives in Philadelphia. Egyed was scheduled to appear Wednesday in federal court in Fort Pierce, officials said. If convicted, he could be sentenced to up to 20 years behind bars." Most Iggles fans face 20 years in front of bars. This one might get 20 behind them. Not much difference IMHO.

I'd be taking the same approach as Pete and Stojan.
mead107 Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 should have thrown him off the plane at 35,000 ft.
sweet baboo Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 Is it just me or does the guy sort of look like Robert Downey, Jr.??? 220066 first thing i thought
30dive Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 For a fellow who claims to dislike the US government, he can know look forward to being a guest of the government for up to 20 years.
