26CornerBlitz Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 (edited) Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio said on the Dan Patrick show that Marrone will be fired at the end of the 2014 season. Agree or disagree? Why in either case. Edited August 18, 2014 by 26CornerBlitz
Buftex Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 Is he basing this on anything, or just his "feeling"?

Realist Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 Before we go any further: http://twitter.com/M...404602487832577 Based on that Twitter feed, if I had to guess an AFC East coach would be fired at the end of the season, I would probably say Marrone too.
The Dean Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 Well if Florio said it, it must be true. New ownership always fires the HC.....except for when they don't. Move along, nothing to see here.

LB3 Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 I think that every coach in the AFC East not named Belichick is in danger of being fired if their team doesn't break .500 this year.
aristocrat Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 It's a guess as a new owner wants to make a change. But look at what tpegs did before. If this team wins he will likely keep his job but if we suck...probably out.
GunnerBill Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 Philbin will be done if he doesn't make the play-offs. In other words.... Philbin will be done.
The Big Cat Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 He cited new ownership as the reason. But it was speculation. It wasn't: I hear that several competing bids are contingent upon front office upheaval. Instead, it was: you know, generally when a new owner comes in they like to hire their own guys. Okay, sure.

This^^^^^ We don't even know who the owner is yet and what preferences s/he may have. If the Bills get on a winning track - a big if - the dynamics get even more ambiguous relative to office and coaching staff.
You herd it hear last Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 Wait, even if we win the SB? That is the last thing I'd ever expect YOU to say.
LOVEMESOMEBILLS Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 I think that every coach in the AFC East not named Belichick is in danger of being fired if their team doesn't break .500 this year. I think this is the correct response. They are all in danger if their teams don't show improvement. If not for new ownership I would say Doug would be third most likely of the three.

Fixxxer Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 He could be right but he's just guessing right now.
K D Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 Doug is probably doing a good job (hard to gauge what we can't see behind the scenes) but unfortunately for him he hitched his wagon to a rookie QB and a rookie offensive coordinator. Rookie mistake by a rookie head coach
