It's amazing to think fans are still concerned that this team would be or was ever in danger of moving to Toronto.

Complete non-story, but it's a zombie at this point.

If you believe that, let's talk Bridges.

Have you ever wanted to own your own bridge?

I can make you a great deal but you have to act now.

It may actually be true that he wasn't involved. It doesn't matter. The point is that this is proof that Rogers Communications, whether it was him or not, wants to move the team to Toronto. This is big news because there was never anything black and white that they wanted to move the team. It was all speculation, up to now.

Agree.

Except again, people don't really have the time or take the time to follow this like we do. Or have the sources like Kirby and Bandit that can reassure them with 99.9% confidence.

So I applaud the alliance and jw and Hannah for getting this stuff out because for the casual viewer and outsider, this confirms the same stuff that we may have already known and gets them closer to the same place. And it is, for all intents and purposes "news." We hadn't seen that kind of writing before.

Granted, it should be put into context and time frame and it's not news to people that know what's going on or have followed this closely. But it's important IMO that everyone has as much info and ammo as they can to show the NFL that this Toronto thing just will not work, which is one of the three main reasons, and probably the biggest of them, why it wouldn't.

Agree with all of this. My question was more why is it news to people on here? There has been such a thorough discussion and analyzation over the last few months that it would be hard to think that TO was still an option. Yet, as of yesterday there were still people (or at least a person) insistent on the impending move.

Because unlike the "Special" people most of us don't have time to follow this closely, live in the are or get inside information. So please excuse some of us regular folks.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this the first concrete evidence we had that they wanted to move the team?

I would say that the fact that they looked into stadium locations in Canada 18 months ago was the first concrete evidence, although again, I don't think anyone disputes that they wanted to move the team.

The only dispute was over whether or not they still plan to attempt that given that they won't win the bid without assurances of keeping the team here (not that they'd be likely to win even if they offered them).

Yeah. But they were looking into that before Ralph even died. That could be for an expansion team, or another team. At least it could be argued. But this is the first concrete evidence, that I've seen, that they wanted to buy the Buffalo Bills, and in fact, move them to Toronto.

Concrete? They already denied it with a plausible (at least to any non Bills fan ;) ) explanation.

Now, after the denial published in JW's article if it was proven that the person did indeed sign the NDA then in my opinion they wouldn't have a leg to stand on.

All that I was getting at was if anyone had checked in on this thread or the 2 before it there was a pretty thorough explanation coming from a lot of different directions as to why Toronto wasn't a threat. Just yesterday, I was reading about some big conspiracy theory (with no basis or support) insisting that they are being relocated. There has just been tons and tons and tons of evidence to the contrary on here. The general public may be less informed but the people on here have no excuse. Whether they choose to believe the information or not is one thing but to be surprised by the info is another. That's all that I was getting at. Edited by Kirby Jackson

So even though we knew Toronto was all but officially out of the running, assuming this is legit, would this be a nail in the coffin for them? Can the trust even negotiate with them any longer?

Wait, I thought the Bills were going to be sold at auction to the highest bidder because Ralph didn't care about what happened to the team after he died?
