KollegeStudnet Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Nice veteran signing. He can help both Hoyer and Manziel out
Tyrod's Tailor Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Wish Bills had signed him. He's not very good but can give you basic competence for a 2 game stretch.
jr1 Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Rex Daniel Grossman III isn't a bad insurance policy
Clippers of Nfl Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Glad. Dont need an old ass guy who was never really good anyway.
Guffalo Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Which may also mean they will try to slip UDFA QB Connor Shaw from South Carolina to the PS. I have been following SC for a few years, Shaw can play, he was undefeated at home for 4 years under Spurrier, he he has heart and he can play in this league (not a starter for a few years)

bowery4 Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Rex killed us the last time we played him (Wash) if I remember correctly.

But man, signing another project QB is a tough sell. The Bills seem to be full up for that.
jamiezzz Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Not a great QB, but can be serviceable for a few games if a injury were to occur.
YoloinOhio Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Rex killed us the last time we played him (Wash) if I remember correctly. The last time we played Washington was 2011 and we won 23-0. John Beck was the QB. If you are referring to the preseason, can't take much from that. There is a reason he is available mid August.
PolishDave Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 I thought that Rex would have been the guy the Bills could have gone after last year instead of Kolb. I wonder what the season would have ended up like. And I wonder how much it would have helped our young QB's progress.
l< j Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 And former Bill Tyler Thigpen released to make room for Rex. Heard of him/Get 'r done/He's a Bum/He just needs more time kj

Donald Duck Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Rex killed us the last time we played him (Wash) if I remember correctly. He did, im not sure the ball ever hit the ground with him behind center...
YoloinOhio Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 He did, im not sure the ball ever hit the ground with him behind center... He was 11-21
Tyrod's Tailor Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 No. No. He's much, much better than Tuel or Lewis.
YoloinOhio Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 (edited) He's much, much better than Tuel or Lewis. You forgot to add "IMO." IMO, he was sitting on the couch with 3 weeks to go until the season. Actually, that was a fact. Edited August 12, 2014 by YoloinOhio
