truth on hold Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Curious, is this a punishment people would support in America? (I believe it's performed with a sword) Riyadh, Aug 8 (IANS) A man in Saudi Arabia has been beheaded on the court's orders for sexually assaulting and murdering two Asian housemaids in a sea port, a media report said here Friday. https://news.yahoo.com/man-killed-maids-beheaded-saudi-arabia-102218812.html
ExiledInIllinois Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 If it isn't cruel and unusual, then fine. Afterall, that's what the USC has to say about crime and punishment in our land.
B-Large Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Keeps the recidivism rate down. The evidence is overwhelming in support of your assertion...

Its grotesque but on the other hand probably doesn't have the error rate of electric chair or chemical injection
DC Tom Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 Cheaper, too. How much money has California spent keeping Charles Ng on death row?
ExiledInIllinois Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 (edited) Its grotesque but on the other hand probably doesn't have the error rate of electric chair or chemical injection I beg to differ. Start doing them this way and the whiff rate skyrockets. Bring back the guillitine (too lazy to look up spelling). That was very efficient and had zero error. AND... They could lessen the grotesque factor w/a splatter guard and bag. Edited August 11, 2014 by ExiledInIllinois
