BRAWNDO Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Lauren Brill @LaurenBrill4 12m Pegula's company East Resources along with partner announced today it has closed on 1.75 billion dollar transaction. Wawrow, Kryk and Graham all deserve praise for their reporting on the sale
bisonbrigade Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 The Toronto group it submit another bid as long as they provide convincing assurances that they will keep the team in Buffalo. Bon Jovi's letter is not convincing. Also the Group's principal owner must put in 30% in cash on the bid, which some doubt that Bon Jovi has.
Best Player Available Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 First or second bid? BPA I assumed first.

TheZone78 Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Interesting timing... http://www.philly.com/philly/business/20140806_Trump__Plaza_and_Taj_Mahal_casinos_too_shabby_to_bear_his_name_anymore.html
YoloinOhio Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Just another day at the office @john_wawrow: #Bills bidder Terry Pegula closes on $1.75 billion deal to sell drilling rights to American Energy. http://t.co/HqYAOpbCtx
YoloinOhio Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 (edited) @john_wawrow: There's more to the Pegula story in update I have filed. Interesting to see that Pegula indicates he controls more oil and gas assets. Edited August 6, 2014 by YoloinOhio
zow2 Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Love Pegula. Using a football analogy the guy is probably up like 42-7 in the bidding game. Now he's just gonna throw deep and run up the score. No one's gonna be able to come up with the kind of cash Pegula can. Plus he refuses to lose this.
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 So where would Terry P be in the pecking order of owners net worth?? Near top, bottom, Is he worth more than RW?
RuntheDamnBall Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 So where would Terry P be in the pecking order of owners net worth?? Near top, bottom, Is he worth more than RW? One of the tops in the league if not tops.

Pathetic...
Doc Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 One of the tops in the league if not tops. Tops is Paul Allen by far.
Peter Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 And Jon Bon can't even close on his paltry $40 million dollar Manhattan pad. Pathetic... A stark contrast between the Pegulas and JBJ. JBJ really needs to go on tour (somewhere other than WNY) and forget about the Bills.
Tyrod's Tailor Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 One of the tops in the league if not tops. and wouldn't that be quite the turn of events for this organization.
Big Turk Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Tops is Paul Allen by far. Believe Kirby said he would be top 5
Peter Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 and wouldn't that be quite the turn of events for this organization. Indeed.
BringBackFergy Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 So where would Terry P be in the pecking order of owners net worth?? Near top, bottom, Is he worth more than RW? I think Jerry Jones would be right up there in the pecker order...so there's some stiff competition.
