YoloinOhio Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 I'm in mid-season posting form. You all need to get your fingers in gear. Cordy Glenn missing the 2014 season or any portion is a level 8/10 emergency. You all are in off season form loafing, around listening to Tim Graham's half arse reporting.
BillsBytheBay Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 (edited) Dude I get it. But Cordy Glenn could just as easily be like, "hey guys I have a kidney stone." It's not a matter of national security. or he doesn't feel fandom is reason enough to get in the habit of disclosing his personal business. It's not national security you know. The next thing that would happen is fans would start expecting disclosure of personal issues. Don't forget the backlash from goodwins tweet. Edited August 5, 2014 by JaxBills
FluffHead Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 @mikerodak: Cordy Glenn doing some conditioning work tonight. That's more than what we've seen lately http://t.co/P74vTcqjrD

Are you going to heal the mother!@#$er or just continue the words and the typing? Cause demanding to know what his illness is doesn't actually help anybody. Right now everyone here is contributing equally to getting him back in the fold. (zero=zero.)

Man, I know id be down if he's out. I also know it's clearly a pretty serious issue, and even if he's on the right track at this point that is no promise he will be good to go..... His medical reports won't change most of that feedback, positive or negative. Edited August 5, 2014 by NoSaint
MRW Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Tragedy + Time = Comedy But if time is money, does that mean Tragedy + Money = Comedy?
billsfan1959 Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 ill back that. im concerned about the role he will play in the 2014 season discussions, given his current state of mind. i hope we can get some qualified experts to weigh in on this. My expertise is personality psychology and criminal behavior; however, assessing the psychology of the average Bills fan might prove just as interesting....
Captain Caveman Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 But if time is money, does that mean Tragedy + Money = Comedy? It probably depends on how much money, but a wise man once said "If there's a steady paycheck in it, I'll believe anything you say."
Green Lightning Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Lotta pages for what is one man's rant. Just sayin'

bbb Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 "unnecessary fear"? Of what? Come on it's a game. if you're a relative I am sure you would be up to date. Hairston, had no reports last year. Why, should fans of a football team need to know, well anything non football Injury related about a player? If it's not playing football, it's football related! It seems a little strange that we would know if he lacerated a kidney during a game, but not if he has another kidney issue. Why doesn't the lacerated kidney violate HIPPA? If it was a top quarterback, and I was in the know, I wouldn't violate HIPPA, but I would go to the nearest sportsbook and adjust my over under for the season accordingly.
Nanker Posted August 7, 2014 Posted August 7, 2014 There's no certainty around these parts like uncertainty. Does anyone need a notarized document from their boss that stipulates you will arrive home today after work? Would you be worried about it if you didn't have that?
LOVEMESOMEBILLS Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 I'm officially worried about this thread.

cosmo Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 If the starting LT of an NFL team is not playing it is not a private matter. (period) He is a public figure that is paid millions of dollars to play a professional sport. If you miss (pre-season) games and practice it is not a private matter (period.) If you do not want your medical history out in public then retire from the NFL. This is this same delusion that people use to justify paparazzi invading privacy- "if you don't want cameras shoved up your skirt then don't become famous." Just stop. These people seem to think that when a person reaches some level of salary/fame, any and all personal information should be available to anyone who wants it. You have it backwards - if you need to know these people's most personal and private details just don't be a fan, no one is forcing you. Don't say that they should quit their jobs because they want a little privacy.

Don't say that they should quit their jobs because they want a little privacy. Incorrect. I don't care what Cordy Glenn wears to bed. I care whether he is going to play football on Sunday. The information about football injuries is made available by contract not by fan demand. This injury is mysteriously classified as non-football and it doesn't appear anyone asked Cordy for a statement. It has nothing to do with Paparazzi but nice try making a mountain out of a molehill. I'm just asking if anyone has more information. A simple "No" is an appropriate answer. Not an irrelevant debate about personal privacy. Edited August 8, 2014 by Why So Serious?
Nanker Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 Well then, no. Sorry you're so worried about someone else's health. But no one here has the information you seek. Have you reached out to Cordy directly? He might let you know if you ask nicely. Then you could tell all of us.

Wondering about the health of the starting Left Tackle of the Buffalo Bills is insane. I am the crazy one.
1B4IDie Posted August 9, 2014 Author Posted August 9, 2014 I credit this amazing thread with Cordy's return. Welcome back Cordy. Does any one to discuss the 4th amendment?
