eball Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 Leif Larsen is all you need. Strong like bull. Terrible football player.

And we might be able to trade away a RB or WR....or 2.... or 3.... or 4 Edited August 4, 2014 by You herd it hear last
DJasper Probincrux III Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 Two guys I thought were going to be great NFL'ers for years to come: Nate Turner (RB/FB/TE) and Corey Moore (OLB). Turner was a pre-season stud, kind of a Christian Okoye type in the early 90's...did pretty close to nothing in the regular season...Corey Moore, undersized linebacker who was one of the best college lb's of his time (Oklahoma)...but he sucked for the BIlls...got cut, spent a few weeks with the Packers (IIRC), never to be heard from again... Corey Moore went to Virginia Tech Mo Elewonibi - he was supposed to be the solution at tackle after Wolford walked. Got cut. That 1994 camp lead up was ALL Elewonibi. Sticking with the CFL theme - how about Jimmy "The Jet" Cunningham WR/KR? Came down from the Argos and did zippo. For kicker how about Kirk Roach? 5th round pick 1987 - supposed to have a huge leg and supplant Norwood. Cut.
The Big Cat Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 Fred Jackson. When he was buried on the depth chart he flat out dominated the second and third stringers and made the coaching staff take notice.

It's like oil for the hinges of the revolving door at QB.
DJasper Probincrux III Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 WR - Bernard Ford. 3rd round pick 1988. We liked him so much we tried to trade him as a rookie and he asked to be released instead. We obliged. http://articles.orlandosentinel.com/1989-12-16/sports/8912162948_1_bernard-ford-ford-moved-cowboys
You herd it hear last Posted August 4, 2014 Author Posted August 4, 2014 Fred Jackson. When he was buried on the depth chart he flat out dominated the second and third stringers and made the coaching staff take notice. But he doesn't suck during the regular season. Quite the opposite of the exercise here.

Or terrible WR scouts.
DJasper Probincrux III Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 Man, we really have it in for WRs. Or terrible WR scouts. This. We could make such a long list of high pick (top 3 rounds) turdballs at WR over the years it's sad. Here's every WR we've drafted in rounds 1-3 since 1970. I bolded the guys who did pretty much what they were expected to do, you can debate a couple I left off of that because they weren't completely useless but still underwhelming. Glen Alexander rd. 3 1970 JD Hill rd. 1 (4th overall - drugs are bad kids) 1971 John Kimbrough rd. 3 1977 Danny Fulton rd. 3 1978 Jerry Butler rd.1 1979 Byron Franklin rd. 2 1981 Mike Mosely rd. 3 1981 Perry Tuttle rd. 1 1982 Eric Richardson rd.2 1984 We took 4 WRs in the top 3 rounds in 4 years and none of them could play - none Chris Burkett rd. 2 1985 Bernard Ford rd. 3 1988 Don Beebe rd. 3 1989 Eric Moulds rd. 1 1996 Peerless Price rd. 2 1999 Josh Reed rd.2 2002 Lee Evans rd. 1 2004 Roscoe Parrish rd. 2 2005 James Hardy rd. 2 2008 TJ Graham rd. 3 2012 Bob Woods rd. 2 2013 Marquise Goodwin rd. 3 2013 Sammy Watkins rd. 1 2014 Strong like bull. Terrible football player. He picks things up and puts them down

You herd it hear last Posted August 4, 2014 Author Posted August 4, 2014 (edited) I'd hate to put Levy out there for GM. But..... Maybe Donahoe could fit the bill (no pun) and leave me with less of guilty feeling. OC anyone? I'm going to nominate Turk Schonert Ray Guy would be proud, as Punter is again, the last to go in. Bills have been the best punting team for years and years and years. Rick Tuten was a short-termer OC - Dan Henning
You herd it hear last Posted August 4, 2014 Author Posted August 4, 2014 No Kwame Cavil or Kamil Loud on the WR corps? I don't know how we're gonna get all these guys under contract, but OK Here it is! A complete squad of auto part store managers, or fry cooks or... you get it GM = Tom Donahoe, Stew Barber, Terry Bledsoe HC = Bullough OC = Turk Schonert, Dan Henning DC = Wannstedt STs = Crossman, Rusty Jones Offense: WR1 = Hogan, Avion Black, James Hardy, Jeremy McDaniel, Bernard Ford WR2 = Roosevelt, A. I don't want to see any glinting of hidden gems here. Good luck!
