Pretty brutal. Similar beat was dealt to me in Vegas KK vs KK preflop all in for 1200.00

Other guy hits a flush.

There is a "bad beat" pot at out local casino... A guy I work with had quads and was best by a straight flush... He lost the hand, which was only a few hundred bucks, but won the bad beat "pot"... $23,000.... The kick in the shorts is that someone had recently hit it when it was 6 figures

I am on a plane and just finished reading the Mezrich book on the Absolute Poker folks. Name of the book is Straight Flush.

The real bad beat is these guys were going to IPO when that dumb ass law came out of nowhere....they were going to be Billionares in another couple of months without that BS clause put in a port security act...instead they ending with nothing

Yeah, that was a stomach punch to online poker.

Now they have the online fantasy sports betting sites. I'm wondering when/if they'll suffer the same fate.
