YoloinOhio Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 (edited) @ProFootballTalk: Yes, it's subject to change, but the Bills have released a depth chart after more than a week of camp http://t.co/0hn7g9OOiQ Edited July 28, 2014 by YoloinOhio
YoloinOhio Posted July 29, 2014 Author Posted July 29, 2014 Robey as the backup PR? Didn't think he was very fast?
Beerball Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 I'd say that Gragg has his opportunity right now. If he can't show anything while Moeaki and Chandler dinged up I doubt he sticks (unless they cut Moeaki).
LB3 Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Robey as the backup PR? Didn't think he was very fast? He is shifty and has good instincts which can make up for a lack of straight line speed. Surprised by the news all the same. I'd say that Gragg has his opportunity right now. If he can't show anything while Moeaki and Chandler dinged up I doubt he sticks (unless they cut Moeaki). Is he just that bad of a blocker? He's got the size and speed you'd want in a pass catching tight end.

He can't get by Lee Smith on the depth chart so maybe the light hasn't come on (could be that they have him at #4 because he's behind Moeaki and Smith is a better blocker).
vincec Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Really no surprises here to anyone following training camp so far. I am interested to see if Searcy and Bradham can keep their starting spots ahead of Williams and Brown and if the Bills end up keeping a FB at all. I'm also curious to see if the Bills end up keeping Hopkins as a kickoff specialist and if Richardson ends up making the team. I had my doubts about him after he got schooled at the senior bowl. Maybe he needs a year on the practice squad. After looking at the defensive depth chart, I honestly feel that if this team had been able to keep Byrd and Kiko had not gotten injured, the Bills would've had one of the top 5 defenses in the NFL. As it sits now, I still think they're top 10 material with the right circumstances.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Surprised mike Williams isn't listed as the 1 or 2 WR.
bowery4 Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Whatever happened to the tall WR Ramses Barden? Gone Surprised mike Williams isn't listed as the 1 or 2 WR. only 1 and 2, no slot on roster lists.
Big C Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Robey as the backup PR? Didn't think he was very fast? He muffed several punts in preseason last year too.
Cereal Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Evan Rodriguez ahead of TJ Graham at WR. Easley way down the charts (but it seems obvious that he's considered an asset on ST). Anthony Dixon ahead of Brice Brown at RB. Dangerously thin at LB
Big Blitz Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 I'd say that Gragg has his opportunity right now. If he can't show anything while Moeaki and Chandler dinged up I doubt he sticks (unless they cut Moeaki). Remember he's been out since he had to go the hospital for dehydration. TE is a bit of a mess right now. I like the potential for Gragg...but really, Chandler has to step and produce. I think he can. I think hes capable of 45-50 catches and 7 TDs. I'll take that.
Mark Vader Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Anthony Dixon ahead of Bryce Brown is not what I was expecting. I don't see us keeping a Fullback this year, and I think Dustin Hopkins makes it.
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 This roster has more talent than multiple rosters of years past.
White Linen Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 only 1 and 2, no slot on roster lists. Which would mean Williams should be listed as 1 or 2.
reddogblitz Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Naaman deep in the wood work on the depth chart. 5 RBs with 2 of them we traded for or signed on FA. A couple of them ain't gonna make it I suspect Will be interesting to see who. My main man (after EJ) Thaddeus still hanging onto 2nd string.
Don Beebe Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 I think we keep Dixon as a running back because of our inability to convert short yardage plays last year.
vincec Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Dangerously thin at LB Yup. LB is clearly the weakest group of the defense on paper. I think that they will benefit from that DL in front of them and surprise some people though.
mannc Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Robey as the backup PR? Didn't think he was very fast? "He's really more of a punt catcher." (Sorry, had to do it.)
