Olave is cleared to play at Penn. St.  Whew!

Despite the young depth at that position, we need him out there. It’s too big of a game to rely on guys who’ve not been there before.

Correct. This is a game for Olave to show the young bucks how it’s done under the bright lights.

I am surprised the spread is 12. I have not looked at an osu-psu game in a very long time without thinking the line should be around -3. They always play tight games.

Agreed. It’s always close lately, PSU is furious about last week, and that program doesn’t lose two in a row very often.  At least it isn’t supposed to rain.... 😳

The spread should be 28. Take it from a Tide Fan. Last week I thought that Bama would win by 7 or maybe 10, and that 17 1/2 was a ridiculous number. It can be hard to predict what will happen with your favorite team.

That said, once or twice a year I'm "sure" about a particular game and almost never wrong. I'm guessing that you know what I'm talking about. :)

I would be happy with a 1 point win. That’s just how these teams play each other. And penn state season on the line, plus our LBs were playing last week like Schiano was calling plays from New Jersey. I literally can’t take it with the LBs. They’ve been here 12 years and no idea what to do.

Maybe I should go vegan? Fields looks great through two games. Critical throws under pressure, shaking off a couple of big hits, and the Cardale-style shoulder dip stood out to me last night.

Day’s unpredictable play calling is super exciting.

Still not sure about this running game.

Bullets were flying around!

Dotson continues to impress. Wade really had his hands full in both games so far.

Great win!! I tend to think penn state is much better than their record and will probably win the rest of their games.

The run game is pedestrian to me after watching Zeke, Dobbins And even Weber for 3 years. Neither Teague or sermon are special. I don’t see the burst, wiggle, etc we are so used to.  I don’t know how much of an issue this will be until (Hopefully) the playoff. I have a feeling Steele chambers could start stealing some of sermon’s carries

the DL was a revelation - loved watching them dominate. The double RB/QB sack is now a tradition vs penn state! From Bosa to Hubbard to Harrison. How about Togiai??

the secondary is a concern but I won’t panic yet. They are young and learning and it shouldn’t be an issue again until (hopefully) the playoff. Looks like an Achilles for cam brown. Getting thin back there. Wade should be extra motivated going forward, hopefully he’s not playing not to get hurt. I do think they will improve through the season.

haubeil has a groin issue That popped up pre-game and they didn’t bring their other scholarship kicker on the trip. I am thinking they will rest haubeil for a few weeks.

fields is a freak. He’s so accurate. The throwing on 4th and 1 is going to take some getting used to but I’m here for it!!

I don’t gamble on my teams. Glad they covered, that 3 points the refs handed the kitties at the end of the half because they started the clock late would have made a lot of people very pissed.
