james only out a month

James wasn't even their true back up - he was their speed guy. The second string back tore his ACL. Gore is old and slow. Nobody knows what Lattimore will have to offer.

This thread is also retredded.

and we Tod Ed. I honestly don't get why some Bills fans would jump on the bandwagon to ditch one of the teams best players. Another thing I don't get is how so many think that some 7th round scrub from the Eagles is going to play well enough that the Bills will no longer need CJ.

I think another option should be added for what we want in a trade.

A box of Slim Jim's and a 6 pack of Yoohoo

I'll take that please.

Trading CJ for Osweiler is real funny stuff. Trading Pro Bowl starters for backups with no regular season experience seems like a solid plan.

If the Broncos don't go for it, maybe we can pry Thigpen away from the Browns

I'd rather just get a draft pick if I'm being forced to trade CJ.

An "EJ sucks" thread masquerading as a "trade Spiller" thread.

better than EJ

And not masquerading very well, I might add.

San Francisco just lost LaMicheal James and another RB. They are a SuperBowl contender and surefire playoff team meaning their first round pick will be very low. Trade Spiller and a conditional 5th or 6th for their first round pick.

Can't imagine getting this deal - veteran RB's are worth very little - but if SF offered this I'd be all over it.

I voted Cousins - he's good - but the Redskins would not have any interest - they need Cousins (RG3 is an injury waiting to happen) and don't need help at RB.

Why are we trading Spiller?

Near as I can tell it's because:

Bryce Brown is better

Marrone doesn't like him

He doesn't "fit" the offense

He hasn't lived up to his draft selection

He's not durable

He has mental lapses on the field

I'm sure there's a ton more but that's all I got off the top of my head.

GO BILLS!!!

I think mainly because he is in his contract year and a lot of people figure he won't be back anyway, so get something for him now while they can.

Plus some think he flat out sucks ;)

Personally I don't think his single fourty yard run surrounded by his 10-15 little or no gain runs are of a lot of value. And so far anyway, that's all the Bills seem to be able to get out of Spiller.

If they think they can get more than that out of Spiller this season then keep him and hopefully they can resign him. Otherwise if someone offers a 2nd for him, take it and run.
