boyst Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 As per could play OC in a pinch, yes? Also makes it more logical to keep 7WR or an extra OL then a scrub 3rd TE.
BuffaloFan68 Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 I like Asper so I don't agree with what we let him go for.
nucci Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 As per could play OC in a pinch, yes? Also makes it more logical to keep 7WR or an extra OL then a scrub 3rd TE. 7 WR? are you kidding? When would a 7th WR ever see the field?
Nanker Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Wheeler made Asper disposable. They seemed determined to rotate through TEs till they find someone who can stay healthy, can block, and can catch his balls.
EmotionallyUnstable Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 7 WR? are you kidding? When would a 7th WR ever see the field? A 7th wide out would carry far more ST value than any reserve OL.
NoSaint Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 (edited) 7 WR? are you kidding? When would a 7th WR ever see the field? If you assume Easley is wr in name only that'd only be a 6th WR. I don't love the 6-7-8 guys there but think some extra depth elsewhere would be preferred to the 3rd TE being smith. If they find someone they really like at TE, cool, but I don't like keeping someone just to say we have 3. Edited July 27, 2014 by NoSaint

CountryCletus Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Asper's wife came down to see him after a preseason game in his first stint with us.... She handed me their daughter we had to be less than 1 year old... She hugged and carried a conversation with him while I holding their daughter.... Very trusting people... Hahaha, very awkward moment for me...
