Offside Number 76
Dear Media, He is rich, he can beat me if he wants and I'll keep coming back for more as long as he pays my bills. From, A dumb lady That's awfully judgmental. And it was completely wrong of TMZ to release the video without her consent. She's the victim. She should have a say. Now she's a victim again. JC2002
Yea sorry there are consequences that you, rice, and rice's lawyer framed this like you were going at him and then a video came out of him knocking you out unprovoked. Sorry there are consequences for beating you wife AND lying. But blame the media and fans for you and your husbands actions. So persecute her for her own good ? yeah ..ok .. Offside Number 76
it happened in public, it's a crime Which has nothing to do with broadcasting a video of her beating over the Internet.

Rob's House
You mean, YouTube, the site that had the "twerking fail" viral video that got serious play by a number of news stations and turned out to feature a professional stuntwoman and Jimmy Kimmel? Yeah, spoon-fed people go there to get news they can rely upon. Answer fail. "Semantics" n. "the meaning of a word phrase sentence or text". If you aren't willing to stand behind your words, you have no business on a board where words are the medium. You said "women", plural. Prove this is a possibility to consider from a reputable news source or we're done with discussion If your argument is that there aren't women who are big enough and strong enough to put up a fight with the man they're involved with then your argument is weak, and I'm being generous. What exactly is your argument?
26CornerBlitz
Ray Rice speaks out following release, suspension Ray Rice has broken his silence. A day after his contract was terminated by the Baltimore Ravens and he received an indefinite suspension from the NFL, Rice made his first public statement to ESPN's Josina Anderson. "I have to be strong for my wife," Rice said, according to Anderson. "She is so strong. We are in good spirits. We have a lot of people praying for us and we'll continue to support each other. I have to be there for (Janay) and my family right now and work through this."
BuffaloBud
I did not see anywhere as to why John Harbaugh was left addressing the media and not Ozzie Newsome (GM) or the owner. Seems to me that this is a personnel issue, not a coaching issue.

John in Jax
great question. This situation is serious enough where no one short of Bisciotti (owner) should have been at the podium. Ok, so I can answer this one. ESPN had some guy on last night who they billed as their "NFL front office specialist", because he had some direct experience there. He said that Harbaugh is used to dealing with the media, Harbaugh is good at "holding off" the media, & Harbaugh is the face of the franchise to the media. And you know what? I did watch all of Harbaugh's little presser, and he did do a very good job with it. The other front office guys could have done no better, and they may have even made it worse by saying something stupid.
