I though the standard was 6 months for an HIV infection to show on an antibody test. (Turns out it's now 3, as I dig in to it.)

9 months to 1 year. I'm currently involved with this now. It's not DOCS that is testing me either. It's my personal physician through Quest for the blood work.

USUALLY... It will start to show up from 3-6 months but that's not always the case. The doctors tell you that you can go back to regular activities after 9 months. But many people don't do that until 1 year.

Either way. It sucks. Not nearly as bad as being on "The Cocktail" for it though. 30 days of soreness, fatigue, diarrhea, headaches, insomnia, stomach pains, vomiting, and mood swings to add to the fear that you may have contracted aids. Yay!!!

I'm not defending the dealers, just the joeblow who gets the unlucky dickofajudge

And I am well aware of the decriminalization of pot in NYS many years ago.

my point is let the users out of jail

and I'd love to see them put more drunk drivers in .

I know it's just pot but this is ridiculous. Your implying that smoking pot doesn't affect judgment. It absolutely does. Edited by mrags

Most dangerous people on the road are the texters. I am in no way condoning driving under the influence of any drug (alcohol included). But at least they're trying to look where they're going. You cannot text and look at the road.

This is true. We can only educate people into thinking differently, but there will always be someone willing to bend/break the law rules. People are in their vehicle and insulated from the world. Tragic accidents because of somebody's stupidity will never be wiped out, just lessoned. Or can it?

Now, with that being said... Enter the Google car. Eventually, the driving process will be automated.

Don't do drugs AND act like an idiot. It all comes down to responsibility. Some people can handle it others can not. Please don't ruin it for those who can.

Since 1972 and on I've smoked dope and indulged in a few other drugs. Never ever was I involved in a car accident nor been in any public incidents where the cops were involved.

well OK once I did something stupid but hey ship happens.

Lmao!!!

I'm with you there...

In NYS, I actually saw a sign for a "text stop".... I laughed as I know 98% of people would continue to drive and text....
