Marv's Neighbor Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Never watched Rockforsd, but Maverick was the best!
B-Man Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Besides a terrific acting career, Mr. Garner served his country twice. Once in the Merchant Marines (at age 16) and again in the Army in the Korean War (where he won two Purple Hearts) R.I.P. Sir. .
CowgirlsFan Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 A great actor for the television and movie industry. Prayers to his family said and done.
ExiledInIllinois Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 :-( Wow... I feel like I am losing my father. Back in the day, my father would always get double takes from people thinking he was James Garner... LoL...
Fan in San Diego Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Rockford Files was definitely a great show. RIP Jim
dpberr Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Whenever I think of the Rockford Files, I'm always reminded not only of Garner's acting ability but the genius of Stephen Cannell.
Chef Jim Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Loved James and Rockford Files. The fact that I haven't watched an episode of RF in a very long time but since his death I can't get the theme song out of my head says a lot.
