Tiberius Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 Cynthia Nixon, who is currently running for governor of New York, said at a recent fundraiser that if elected she would try to legalize and tax marijuana to raise revenue for the state, according to The New York Times. The "Sex and the City" star voiced her support for recreational weed during a fundraising event last week at the Upper West Side home of writer and former actress Isabel Gillies. According to one of the approximately 70 attendees at the event, Nixon “pumped her first and said yes” when asked about legalizing marijuana. The Timesreports that current New York Governor Andrew Cuomo “has long opposed legalizing recreational marijuana.” READ IT AT NEW YORK TIMES
