row_33 Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 You'd be wrong. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3728280/ Sure.... in a pig's eye. Is there nothing that pot advocates would invent to try to justify their addiction to it?
GoBills808 Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 Sure.... in a pig's eye. Is there nothing that pot advocates would invent to try to justify their addiction to it? You have a real deficit of understanding on this issue. Medicinal cannabis' displacement potential and its subsequent threat to the pharmaceutical industry is the cause. The real question is why you're so gleefully ignorant.

Have you used it instead of morphine for pain?
4merper4mer Posted July 1, 2017 Posted July 1, 2017 Have you used it instead of morphine for pain? Yes. And he also drives a solar powered car.
Deranged Rhino Posted July 1, 2017 Posted July 1, 2017 Have you used it instead of morphine for pain? I have/have to. Can't do opioids at all and have a chronic condition (pun not intended). It more safely manages my pain - far better than over the counter meds I could take (aspirin) - than opiods can. It does not, in my experience, compare to the amount of pain relief opioids can bring... but it's not nearly as addictive and doesn't have the side effects that opioids do on other organs - so long as you're not smoking it.
GoBills808 Posted July 1, 2017 Posted July 1, 2017 Have you used it instead of morphine for pain? Yes. It's a comparable substitute as far as efficacy in my experience, with exactly zero of the opioid negatives. Yes. And he also drives a solar powered car. Ha! Try 7.3l Powerstroke.
Bob in Mich Posted July 20, 2017 Author Posted July 20, 2017 Early on in this thread there were some postings about the difficulties encountered in trying to discuss cannabis use with your doctor. I still recommend first talking to your doctor about 'your friend' that uses cannabis to gauge the doctor's reaction. The stigma is lessening but not with all doctors. https://www.leafly.com/news/health/marijuana-stigma-hurts-doctor-patient-relationship-study-says
