Nanker Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Apparently not everyone was enamored of the young man's football skills. http://nypost.com/2016/04/28/stay-away-giants-scouts-scathing-take-on-once-no-1-pick/ “He’s the one everybody — I shouldn’t say everybody — you talk to people in the league, they’re not as high on him as these clowns on their computers in their basements who maybe watched one game on YouTube and think they know the answers,’’ Dan Shonka, general manager and national scout for Ourlads’ NFL Scouting Services, told The Post. “He can’t block people crossing his face, he’s technique-poor. Here’s how stupid people are: They say, ‘He had a great workout at the combine.’ Well, he didn’t do anything at the combine but on-the-field drills. He was fresh. All the other guys went through real rigorous, the 40s, the vertical, the long jump, they did all that, everything, and he didn’t do crap and some of these clowns out there say, ‘Well, he had a great workout.’ Well, all those other guys would have had great workouts too if they weren’t so tired.’’
Maury Ballstein Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 LOL....he went from #1 overall to #3 because of QBs and trades. He went from #3 to #13 because of pot. His athleticism is what made him a prospect. Pot made him less of one. He's gonna make millions. What a dumbass.
bbb Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 bbb, cannabis contains about 100 cannabinoids in varying proportions depending on the strain. One of them, THC, can make things worse for the psychotic person. One cannabinoid, CBD, can help calm that same person. Depending on the ratio of these compounds found in an individual strain, a high THC strain could trigger an anxiety attack where another strain, one high in CBD, could bring someone down from an anxiety attack. Thanks. It seems like the jury is still out on that: http://link.springer.com/article/10.1007%2Fs00213-011-2566-z
Bob in Mich Posted April 29, 2016 Author Posted April 29, 2016 That is interesting. Thanks for that link. Previous studies that I have seen, such as this one, all seem to state that CBD produced a calming effect - anxiolytic. http://www.scielo.br/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&pid=S0100-879X2006000400001&lng=en&nrm=iso&tlng=en perhaps it is dose dependent?

4merper4mer Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Holy crap there are a lot of strains. https://www.leafly.com/explore#/explore/sort-alpha The one thing they all have in common is that they block the cannaboid receptor which allows for the criticism of pot.
unbillievable Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Can you mix and match strains to control the ride? Like a stoner version of a gobstopper.
Chef Jim Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 Can you mix and match strains to control the ride? Like a stoner version of a gobstopper. Do you mix glasses of wine to create your own blend?
DC Tom Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 Do you mix glasses of wine to create your own blend? Of course. You should try my Gewurtztramincab.
Chef Jim Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 Of course. You should try my Gewurtztramincab. Ummmm no thanks. I prefer Caberlot. This one is ok. A Bordeaux blend of sorts.
DC Tom Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 I prefer Caberlot. Except Cab-Merlot is a real thing.

Chef Jim Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 It truly amazes me that you think anyone here gives a ****. That was pretty interesting! BTW as I mentioned medical marijuana here in CA is a joke. A great opportunity for the government to grow however and eat into the tax revenue that medical pot provides. http://www.ocregister.com/articles/marijuana-714406-department-state.html?utm_campaign=OCR+Top+Stories+Curated&utm_source=hs_email&utm_medium=email&utm_content=29149053&_hsenc=p2ANqtz-_nq2VuasZIRLVKuibws0vnCVHHNYrtEpcN5EG2pzDGzE_F7WIV6vpZanF1BiT0tIBH5avxzlDOdaY9Q2jwc_-sTt40Ew&_hsmi=29149053

Chef Jim Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Lol, that's the legal status of it that killed those people, not the health consequences of using it Ahhh so the system killed them. They play no responsibility in their deaths? To me it's their dumbassery that killed them.
