DC Tom Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 The informed opinion seems to be that alcohol and tobacco are much more dangerous and costly to the individual and to our society. http://www.cheatsheet.com/culture/marijuana-is-much-safer-than-alcohol-and-tobacco-so-stop-asking.html/ From the article While Christie, and the Americans who agree with his attitude toward marijuana, are entitled to their opinions, the repeated yet incorrect mantra espousing the dangers of marijuana is really losing its potency — especially as the federal government itself has even come forward with evidence of actual health benefits from cannabis use. Though many would like to continue to drag the fears exhibited in Reefer Madness into the 21st century, we know that marijuana is generally harmless; in fact, it’s magnitudes safer than other similar substances that are perfectly legal and sold at your nearest 7-11, like tobacco and alcohol. Another "informed opinion" of that author is that pot is healthier than exercise. Jesus, you're an idiot.

Bob in Mich Posted November 20, 2015 Author Posted November 20, 2015 Really? You're finally admitting there's something pot won't cure? Lol No, in fact, cannabis is terrific at treating azzholiness syndrome. Azzholiness Syndrome is the name given to a group of characteristics such as close-mindedness, name calling, belligerence, the need to put down and attempt to dominate others. Sound familiar? If not, I suspect you were not listening very well. I don't have any study links but I have seen it work dozens of times. If the afflicted can be treated with a few cannabis hits, the syndrome appears to evaporate.

Tiberius Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Another "informed opinion" of that author is that pot is healthier than exercise. The point is that it doesn't have to be healthier than anything, It's that it isn't harmful as many things, if harmful at all
DC Tom Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 The point is that it doesn't have to be healthier than anything, It's that it isn't harmful as many things, if harmful at all You might want to address that to the author I was referring to, whose informed opinion is that pot is healthier than exercise.
Tiberius Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 You might want to address that to the author I was referring to, whose informed opinion is that pot is healthier than exercise. I was addressing to the general point if the weed should be an illegal substance. It doesn't need to cure cancer to be legal, imo
TakeYouToTasker Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Would it surprise anyone here to learn that gatorman was a pothead?
DC Tom Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 I was addressing to the general point if the weed should be an illegal substance. It doesn't need to cure cancer to be legal, imo Why were you addressing it to me?
Tiberius Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Why were you addressing it to me?Just to point out it didn't matter if pot was healthier than exercise
