Why not say "Let's face it, the idea of strapping on a M134...." ????

No one is saying "let's strap on an AR-15 on a teacher!"

Ridiculous for even tweeting that *****.

You haven't seen the incessant calls to arm teachers as a solution to school shootings?

The generation of kids being terrorized by all this stuff are going to vote against all this gun stuff. It's so stupid we have to live like this. Not for much longer

Nah, ever kid wants to be a liberal until they get older and reality slaps them across the face. Only those who are delusional stay a democrat as they mature.

It makes up the vast majority of gun related deaths that they then use as evidence to try and get guns banned so yes it's worth mentioning

No one cares about gang bangers killing each other.  The only time I see gun violence in Chicago being cited is in an effort to argue gun control doesn't work.  Which organizations are using gang murder stats in gun banning advocacy?

100% for allowing teachers and staff to be armed. Ones that are trained by LEO and volunteer themselves to have that responsibility. NEVER said "let's have them carry around an AR-15!!!"

Let me ask you two questions:

1. Did you see the video footage of Nashville and the loon shooting the front entry way, having to work its way into the school?

2. Do you not think, during that time the loon was trying to get in, that a front office worker armed with a handgun, could NOT stop that threat?

Because they didnt involve someone executing people in the workplace.  Do you really believe gang bangers removing themselves from the gene pool warrants the same attention?

that's just ignoring the victims of most of their reign of terror.

Do the people that live in those areas not count as victims?

seems kinda racist or classist to say eff the victims if they live in poor areas.

The victims usually are not the bangers.

The bangers like to shoot while running or driving.  nailing little sally on the corner, or Joe after he got out the bar.

Everytown.  but then again, they are quit with the majority but do commercials and walk outs if its the minority of the problem.

They are not going to start attacking the DEM strongholds.  where the majority happen. thats the base in the dem strongholds

just look at the list and see what ones make the news? what ones get amplified to push a narrative.

But does drive people to utilize the second.

you implied a mob or the percentage of us, defines the law in this republic.

That would be mob rule.

and at the end of the day, its  just funny how all the voices that have been attacking policing, now want them to be the force their will on "others"

And honestly, just saying to ignore the inner-city gun problems come off as racist/elitist as hell

That’s because the media and left push LIES in regards to these weapons.

Even my dad, who’s a big conservative, thought you could easily convert an AR to full auto. He also thought if you went to a gun show you didn’t have to go through a background check. I asked him where he heard that? The news.

LIES

No, they just are smart enough to know that weapons of war should not be available to any unstable idiot that wants one

we are a representative democracy. That's not "mob rule" , the majority of Americans want reforms to the gun laws here, and over time they will get it

Things that really should not even have to be explained but for some on here they are just like little children

Then take that up in the voting box in 2024.

Cause right now, its not even close.  why didn't the left do this when they had all three after 2020?

Nah, it's ridiculous to even THINK we would arm teachers.

Interesting discussion at Easter dinner last night with my (very conservative) siblings who are all educators (teachers, school psychologists, etc.) - they said they would QUIT being a teacher if they were forced to possess a gun in their classroom --- too big of a risk and responsibility.

You should have heard their thoughts on banning books and drag queens... lmao.  They said the MAGA cults are f'n nuts... we all agreed.

they will.  They came out in droves in 2020 to vote out the reality TV guy, they will again if republicans think it is more important to ban books than do anything about guns in schools

with this economy, them 81 million are very hard to find anymore. in real life, not message boards.

your goanna have to figure a way to get trump on the ballot and some kind of emergency to get mass mail voting to pull that amount again.  to replicate that.

Now everyone is feeling and seeing what the dems offer.
