Big Blitz Posted March 27, 2023 Posted March 27, 2023 (edited) Easy to compromise/recruit. Mental health professionals create a patient for 60 plus years with every moron parent of a 6 year old that brings them in to discuss a possible “transition” or whatever this person is. Genius, trash professionals also compromised by CCP Woke trash. Well if not recruited, the girls are losing their minds now. What a country. Ban the guns tho. Edited March 27, 2023 by Big Blitz

ChiGoose Posted March 27, 2023 Posted March 27, 2023 If the problem isn’t the guns, why do we have such a higher rate of gun deaths than our peer nations? If you start controlling for variables, the answer is obvious: it’s the guns. 2

Well, being trans was removed from being listed as a mental illness a few years back. Having a mental illness would have been a disqualification for buying the rifles.

If you start controlling for variables, the answer is obvious: it’s the guns. Doesn’t equal causation. The variables are cultural. Also explains the reason for the breakdowns of who is involved / responsible for “ most” shootings. The presence of a gun does nothing on its own. The constitutional right shall not be infringed. People much smarter than you - and me - decided this. 2

Sounds like a LOT of excuses for awful people. 1 1

Sounds like a LOT of excuses for awful people. There is absolute zero point in discussion potential solutions to the gun violence problem with people who cannot understand basic facts about why we have one. Some people just find it easier to let kids die than to accept reality. 1 1 1

Secure the buildings ( seems it wasn’t or there was a breach) Armed Officer at the door etc. I’ll agree there’s nothing palatable about this. One thing that shouldn’t give is individual rights. Makes for a complex issue.

Boatdrinks Posted March 27, 2023 Posted March 27, 2023 Looks like the shooter has been identified as Transgender … first I’ve seen it confirmed. Anyway, this shooter is actually a man. Falls in line with a lot of other shootings now. 1

There are different things we could do to start reducing gun deaths without preventing law abiding citizens from having guns. But there’s no point in discussing possible solutions to a problem that half the people here don’t seem to believe actually exists. Apparently some people are perfectly content with dead kids so long as they aren’t mildly inconvenienced. Weird coming from the “protect kids from the gay penguin book” crowd. 1 1 1
